My good word is that I just got my car ready for a trip down south and a bit west to see Joel (aka Joel the Ornery here) and to have a drink or few in celebration of his wedding the other day.
It's going to be alright.

Hey, Misa, tell them that you are in good hands, Whoa, maybe that is what they are afraid of!

You will be fine. Tell them that Magic Marty said so.

Hope it's cooled down a bit, Gyre. It will be a relief for you on the Playa!

Sput, hope you are doing well. You look good!

Thanks, Marty.
I hear it may be cool on the playa.
Hate to miss that.

Over 100 before noon today.
Going below that next week for the first time in a bit.
120 heat index here.
Twenty dead from heat just locally, and a campaign to give away air conditioners.

Wish I was going to be there this year.

back to wandering the nights for a bit.

days here have been mid 90's, low humudity so it has been really nice.
some afternoon winds, some times in the 15 to 25 mph range but calming down at sunset for some great evenings.

Evenin all!
Anybody stay up late or get up at an un-godly hour to watch meteors last night.
or will anybody be watching tonight? I would think the playa would be great for viewing meteors

Been kind of strange weather, not many thunder storms this summer either. We have all just been waiting for hell to break loose, but so far it hasn't.

Almost time for the kids to wake up.
Just a step above cowboy coffee.

Hi GH Looks to me like a very good coffee contraption! Pour me a cup. Bit early for VCG's ladies to get here, but I jump into the NEB just the same and hope I get some of her lovely company. You here FT? Misa?

Little over a week and a half and we will be hugging and dancing on the Playa. I am ready!

FYI, there will be over 250 art installations on the Playa this year.

Misa, give your parents our love and a hug. And by the way, pass the pastries.

Wake up, YG and smell the various substances you are using to make all the wonderful stuff you make

Very sad that you will not be on the Playa this year, Gyre! That heat sounds exhausting. This has been one of the coolest summers out here in a long time, Supposed to get warmer next week.

Have a great day all Czech it out!
