It is kind of big fuck. You may remember that I was posting before Xmass about my friend, who lost her unborn child (first one) in sixth month of pregnancy and had to deliver the dead baby...
3 weeks from now she should have been actually having the baby, if it still was alive and her sister just gave birth to the beautiful girl (third baby) and my friend just kind of lost it...She has complete psychic breakdown, never want to see her sister and her kids again, never want to see her parents and family again...she hates them...
Good part is, she recognizes a little bit that it is problem and she is going to hospital and we all hope the doctors will help her and also will look after her, so she doesn't do anything stupid. The not so good part is, that she is still in this 6 weeks period after the delivery, which is very dangerous time for woman, and it can turn into the "lactation psychosis" (don't know if that is the right expression for it in English).

I hope for the best.

If you have family photo's (and who doesnt) duplicate them and store the dupes somewhere else. Photo copy wallet items and do likewise, as well as birth certificates and social security cards. Store a spare car key outside somewhere, hidden, as well. Consider creating a household inventory, as well as taking pictures of stuff.

Obviously not much remains.

Last night I went through a box of pictures etc we had found. Surprisingly we found many old photos relatively intact. I have been told that photo studios can help to recreate them to almost original. I will be checking into that. It is a small miracle that I hope can raise Mom's spirits as it has mine. I am going back up north tomorrow night after work with my older son. We will continue to search. There is a large debris pile that was created when the FD brought in an excavator to search for my Step Dad. We will tear into that.

Already she is talking to a builder. I told her I want a hot tub in the guest room. That brought a fucking well needed smile to her face.

Well fuck. I just had an experience I hope to never repeat. I woke up this morning to find that I was it basement of a house that was burning down. Within a few seconds the basement was filled top to bottom with black smoke so that I couldn't fucking see my hand in front of my face. The lights went out at about the same fucking time. I thought I was trapped in there because all the windows up high and too small to get out of. But then I remembered that my dad had put a larger window in what is now the storage room. It was in the far corner of the basement. It was a very near thing and I think if I had been there just a few more seconds I would not have made it out. Everyone got out ok except for my parents dog Tillie and Darkangels cat Luna. I was the last person out. They took me to the hospital because of heavy smoke inhalation and kept me on oxygen and lung tratments all day. My blood pressure when I got in the ambulance was 296 over 160! I think they might have kept me overnight for observation but I have no insurance. The firefighters say the house is a total loss. And it looks it too.

I called for her and started looking but did not find a body so I hoped that she had gotten out. A minute later I turned around and there she was. Best part of the whole fucking day.
