Well I finally got some fucking sleep. I am at my brothers house just through the block behind the house that burned down. gonna have to go and start assessing the damage, maybe tomorrow, still tired today. Luna is here with me and seems OK. Haven't seen the house in daylight yet. My parents are at my sisters house. My daughter, Darkangel, was staying over at a freinds house when this happened, thankfully, so she didn't have to go through the ordeal of getting out of the house. That would have been really scary. I am so glad she wasn't home.

Fucking addendum.

My brother says that fox news was the last to show up. They asked him a couple of questions to which he did not want to answer because he is like me in that he does not like nosy new reporters. He did not tell them anything they did not already know. Well they talked to my brother and maybe one or two other people then drove away. Last night I saw their report and all their footage was shot after dark when no one was there. They did get the essential information, but anybody could have done that. Their report was somewhat garbled with some blatant inacuracies. They said that firemen did not know I was in the house until I called 911. Later in the report they said that firemen were already looking for me when I made the call to 911. Fucking hilarious. This was the 10 pm news that I saw. The other two news stations that I saw did a much better job. And thier footage was shot in daylight with an interview from the fire commander on the scene to get the facts.

Gotta love fox news.

I expect nothing less from Fox. After all, they just report, it's up to YOU to decide that they're there to create the story. It's not "what's the truth", its "How can we sensationalize it to suck in viewers". Journalism 101 as taught in the new millenium.
