The votes are leaning towards scotch. At least I am not alone in my misery. My son, who got me sick, is right here with me. It is definitely a ducky pj day.

A drink would be good, GE. Really good. Something to start me off easy, perhaps a half-decent sipping bourbon of some sort. On the other hand, what about a iced Aquavit? They drink that 'round about where you're from, don't they sweetness?

Clearly the Swedes know a great graphic element when they see one to steal from y'all.

Isn't it in "V" where the action goes down largely on Malta? Maybe I need to do some more research before I tangle with the likes of you again R-Jack.

damn swedes. i can't even hate them. my son is swedish. damn damn damn.

'V'? is that supposed to be some pop culture reference? cause if so i'm just going to stare at you blankly and laugh. hell if i know.

it's historically extremely significant.

and what's this about research and tangling? you aren't afraid, are you?

"V" is Thomas Pynchon's first novel, and I think that the search for V, whatever the hell it is, ends up on Malta. You can read a synopsis here but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, and I've read the book.

hey, we used to do that too, me and lil' sis.

(you can get the blanks at an art store in the U District, if you were wondering. over by PetCo and the apple store)

i made one and sent it to the mid east but it, like all else, got eaten by the israeli government. they probably thought it was terrorist material. *sigh* or maybe the translation i got of the address into arabic wasn't reliable... (course, the egyptian who did it SHOULD know...)
