Yes, much nicer breakfast than the shredded wheat I had.
It's going to be alright.

Morning PD & YG. Coffe sounds good about now. Sleeping well, but having wonderful dreams about the Playa and the fun we'll have. We'll come by 5 & B and try to find you on Sunday, YG. We'll also try Doc Pyro's place as well to see Misa.

Have a great day everyone. Won't be long now!

Took so long to post that I missed Sput and Misa and her wonderful breakfast! Misa, BBQ here on Wednesday night is all set. One other burner will be with us so it should be fun! See you on Wednesday!

Cheers

HI Marty.

I'll be closer to 5 and "Cairo".........I got an update last night from my campmates that are there.
Evidently, we got moved back some.

So.
somewhere along 5, between B and C.

It was super windy out there on Saturday, the report states.

Morning, peepz! So, I missed the opportunity to grab coffee this morning. I also missed breakfast. But, today is my last day at the office before I hit the road tomorrow. That will carry me through the whole day.

The best part of waking up, is knowing you'll be on the playa soon!

True, but it doesn't have the same effect. One morning, I picked up a grande latte from Starbucks on the way to work and it cooled enough, by the time I hit the office, for me to drink it quickly. So, I did, without thinking about it. Within about 30 mins, I was overdosing on caffeine so much that I felt like I was having a bad trip or something.

Sry, I'll probably be posting scatterbrain posts all day, it's going to hard to keep focus...

GOOD MORNING! Less than four days left now until lift off. I will be just approaching Lee Vining, CA at this time on Friday! :D

Sounds like everyone is pretty on track with packing and prep!!!!

Thanks for the coffee, I definitely needed it this morning. The weekend totally took it out of me.

Dropped the car off for a quick oil change, trie rotation, and filter change...just to make sure everything is in working order. At work now, will be arround all day. My love to all!
Finally moving to SF...can't WAIT!

Is it happy hour yet?

Due to a logistical adjustment, I will be able to slip out of here (my office) in Tminus one hour. I have to drop off my office key (it's a controlled, sensitive office) to my boss before he leaves for the day. Once that key is gone, there's no way for me to work! Sweet!

So, I moved up my hair appointment to 2:30pm. Last trip to the Playa, I had a pink mohawk. This year, I'm going with a full head of pink hair. I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to style it, though...

Did a dry run of mounting the bikes. Glad I did - they only fit one way. Nice to know ahead of the real thing.

Really, boss, I'm working. Trying to work. Trying not to obsessively monitor eplaya and think about all my bits of projects and shopping that I need to finish up. Really. This is my very last post. Really.

I wonder how bad it would be if I spray painted my hair? It'll come out eventually, right? And I wear it cut short, less than an inch, worst possible case I cut it all off in a week, right? Right??

I'm sticking with the non-alcohol this year. How about a big peach smoothy with a strawberry on top?

(ooh, sorry, that offer was directed at PD. Still, a peach smoothy would be very nice. And what can I make for you, my dear VCG?)

(that pledge to get back to work isn't workin' out so well, is it?)

Well...if you're offereing swampdog...I would like a side car! Yum...and perhaps a quick snuggle in the NEB??

BTW...bringing an ultra stretchy blanket to the playa this year...it might actually wrap arround all of us. I have comfortably "seated" six under it. But it stretches to cover my entire room and could go further...it's very special. Whenever I see it...it makes me think of the NEB

Sidecar, huh? Never made one of those. Let me get the book - hmm, brandy, cointreau, some lemon, some sugar. Shake, put a sugar rim on the glass... How's this?

Oh, and since I'm not working anyway, I'd love a snuggle. Mmm, I love snuggles. I'm shy about asking for snuggles but I'll always accept when offered!

OK, I'm in for the evening. Never had a sidecar, so I think I shall partake!
It's going to be alright.
