Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Morning y'all.
Work up to find my moms bank had been robbed. Officer shot. Suspect shot. Went down infront of one of the elementry schools. Hope none of the kids saw it! Night before last a suv went dukes of hazard style into the creek. 25 foot tall banks. 7 people in it. One died and 2 others in critical condition. Like I have said in the past this town is like 18,000 people. Why does so much shit happen here. Oi!!
Laying here cuddling with Teddy waiting for Tom to get up so we can go shopping, speaking of, is anyone going to do black friday?

Doug, you're right. The only thing that could possibly make it any better is if it were racially motivated.
Re: The Bar, Volume #4
It's always fun to jump over a puddle of blood on the way to the store, to buy that flat screen TV, no?
I had a WTF moment this morning when this guy on news was waiting anxiously at a gas station somewhere in New Jersey. Apparently, his wife has an appointment for C-Section.
Considering they already had an appointment, one would think he would have cared to fill up gas in his car and 3 other barrels before the storm hit.

Say what you want about New York, but it is big:

We could live without New Orleans for a few years, but I am afraid we are going to need the Big Apple until its replacement comes on line later this century.

Sounds like a band.
Fuck is it Time to leave for bassnectar yet? I have to get up at 4:30am.
Went to the store so tom could get warmer boot, found a geny for $349 looks pretty good. Also bought a lazer pointer for Teddy. Best $2 I ever spent!

Whoa there pardner.... A generator that cheap is likely to be horribly loud. Save up for a Honda EU-series.tattoogoddess wrote: Went to the store ..., found a geny for $349 looks pretty good.

Decent, moderate noise/harshness, low oil use.
No comparison to an EU at all.
Main reason to buy the EU is better fuel consumption, and will run any electronics.
I can get an EU for eight times the price.
Next time.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Hi, Goathead
Re generators, if I was buying new, I would keep saving for an EU or better.
Some say the yamaha version is as good.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
EU2K can be purchased for $800-900 new. The main reason to buy one is they keep working. I've seen other people go through a new $200-300 genny each year, while my Honda has been going strong for 7 years.gyre wrote:The one I'm buying was that price new.Elliot wrote:Whoa there pardner.... Morning all! Bit of coffee, some breakfast, then off to watch a buddies band play. Maybe a trip to San Diego to see some tour friends this weekend.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
CO, I ran the one I'm going to buy for over a month nonstop.
Still has low oil use.
Northern tool store brand.
Looks like all the other chinese ones, but is not.
That stuff varies a lot in quality.
Uses a lot of gas on low loads though, which the EU shouldn't.
That adds up quick.
