If you figure anything out let me know. I know its possible to take the disks out and put them in a different drive but that takes a clean room and it ain't cheap

Sorry to hear that Tatonka/MSJ
I went through something similar awhile back and found my time on the playa led me to reevaluate
what I wanted to do and ultimately led to my finding my "calling" (for lack of a better term) at a late age. I've never been happier in terms of how I make a living.
I know it's hard now, but try to find the silver lining, it's not always evident but sometimes it pops out of nowhere. I try to tell myself I'm now open to more opportunities and keep a sharper eye out for them.

My fucking brother and his fucking wife just cut ties with the family. Threatened us with arrest if we came on his property(7 hours away). All because we found out he had not been doing his job and had to dock his pay to hire someone else to do it.

Yep. Learned my fucking lesson here. I'd pay him to stay away from our business, frankly, after this. That said, I hope we can come back together as a family. I love him. I'm actually surprised by how badly I'm taking this. Reading the rain thread, I had the thought, "How great would it be to get stuck out there in mud forever and not have to come home to this."
