We arrive and there is a big Town Car parked in one of the spaces.. Gramps went through all the trouble of getting into his chair.. Then went in and asked the car be moved.. The guy comes out bitching that he has a wheel chair in his trunk.. W?T?F?..

Later I noticed that no one in his party was a gimp..

pink, dadara, the Dutch artist responsible for the Exchangibition Bank a couple of years back, did something similar with tanks painted....you guessed it....PINK. With help from the Dutch Army.

I fucking love the story of the tank that sat in the middle of Prague commemorating the liberation of the city by the Red Army that was painted pink by students in the middle of the night in the nineties. The artist responsible, David Černý is pretty cool. I think he'd fit right in at TTITD.

After Julie and I having to work overnights for the dreaded holiday (grrrrr), my son Robin had to be taken to the hospital. He blacked out in the shower and fell.
After some tests, we found out he has Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome
Which is this;
Normally, electrical signals in the heart go through a certain pathway that helps the heart beat regularly. The wiring of the heart prevents extra beats from occurring and keeps the next beat from happening too soon.
In people with W-P-W syndrome, some of the heart's electrical signal goes down an extra (accessory) pathway. This may cause a very rapid heart rate called supraventricular tachycardia.
So, he is home for the time being, resting. We are to call in on Mon to schedule a surgery time and day.
The surgery should be easy and correct the wiring misfire.

But in the mean time I'm a fucking mess

I hate the holidays to start with (see the suicide thread)
and I double hate hospitals

I got Fucking x-rays and a different knee brace. I'll be fine. I will do strengthening exercises every night and make darn sure that my feet are faced forward if I squat or lift.
