thanks! yeah, healing. I ended up with sepsis the day after, and back in the hospital for a week of IV antibiotics... and large hematoma that's slowly dissolving (I hope)....

fuck. My friend has set the day as this Wed. he's got brain cancer, is now deaf, blind in one eye, losing sight in the other as this progresses. He has the EOL drugs in hand. He got hold of me to say goodbye, and I was able to tell him my thoughts, which was fucking nice anyway.

You understand. Death comes for all. The deaths in my life were mostly unexpected in sleep. Maybe there is an online way you can participate as part of processing? Even with that, it takes time.
