*bartendress manifets out of nowhere and begins cleaning glasses and wiping down the bar like she never left... fixes up a margarita on the rocks with the good tequila she keeps in the locked cabinet under the bar... looks around to see who's here... wanders to the door and steps out onto the street to see what's up on the GD block...*

Guuuurl, Good to see you made it back in one piece. Could you heat up some ginger echinacea lemonade with a shot of Rebel Yell. I sure missed you! Nobody makes it like you.

Better get back in there before you catch your death of cold. It has been snowing out here off and on for several days now.

I took a stab, it was poor timing on my part. I had'nt been here(e-playa) and one day decided to check in, and there was all this talk about someone down in LA and figured out it was you. So what the hell, I'll have to wait a little longer, it'll make the meeting just that much more sweet!

SNOW??? on the playa??? no fucking way....

it's cold as fuck and raining, but no snow yet... i did have to drive home thru a flurry, though... looked all star trek n shit through my windshield with flakes flying at my face... cool as hell to experience for a cali girl.

hi geek!!

here's yer lemon-echinacea concoction, babe... feeling under the weather?

on another note... i've been all exploring my inner self and making really cool realizations about myself and how i'm really not ready for any kind of relationship/intimacy cuz i've got some serious shit to work out for/with myself, but in the meantime... i really need to just get laid... any advice??

I'm feeling fine, just a preventative measure is all. I've been hanging out here in drag , seems I may be running a few of your customers off, Ahhh who cares I'm more man than they'll ever be, and more woman than they'll ever have.( Bambi starts giggling hysterically)

Yes, there is just an amazing amount of snow this year and another 4 to 8 inches are expected Monday night through Tuesday morning. The playa is going to be WONDERFUL this year if the wind stays reasonable. I think this might be a low dust year.

*toddles in wearing a Tiarasaurus hat*

I've just had a wonderful weekend in Reality Camp, folks - hope you didn't miss me too terribly much. I have to say I'm amused by the concept of a bar that's actually slower on the weekends....

*makes up a Bailey's and cocoa, topped with more fresh whipped cream; drags a lovesac over by the fireplace; genieblinks another log on the fire; and settles in to relive the party, engraving the best parts in her memory*

*M-sky walks in, weary from the weekend. Sore from being used as a pincushion yesterday(3 shots). Very sad this morning after learning that a friend and coworker has passed away over the weekend, hangs head in memory*
Morning Guin! Any chance of getting a cup of that french press if it's done?

Thanks for the offer, Guin. If I hadn't gone to the cities over the weekend I would've seen him one last time. He was having a huge winter solstice jam session at his place and they were always great! But I'm glad that all his friends were there and played and in his last few hours he was doing the thing he loved most, playing his music! Thanks Guin, I can't think of anything right now.

*sips coffee*
MMM, sure is good!

Glad you like the coffee...

i'm actually needing to head to work, but I'll be back online when I get there.

I'll be gone for a bit: yay for the Seattle Metro! Let's hope that they're on time this morning...

(oh, did you guys know that it SNOWED here yesterday? Beautiful... gone by the end of the day of course, but that's typical.)

see you in a bit!
