I met this crusty ole bad ass dude from the bronx at a City Hall meeting yesterday. I grew up in a tough east coast neighborhood, but not like this guy. we agreed to see the Yankees and Red Sox when they both come out here to play the A's. Thank God for the diversion of baseball and I don't care what they pay these guys.

Bonds got a standing ovation for what the chron said was 47 sec....seemed more like 3 min to me... if the pres can do drugs, well then.....
