It's when they're set with rhinestones and colored pink.

A friend of mine has a b-day coming up, and she's from Texas....she gets a rhinestone encrusted handbag with matching conceal-carry holster.....lol. Only in Texas, where the railroad commission sets policy for the oil wells and they put out the oil well fires with dynamite.

@AntiM.. Congratulations on finding someone for your 'catch and release' opportunity. That is quite a kind offer that you, MyLarry and the rest of your camp provide. It seems to me that this is at the core of what I like about Burning Man!

well that, ..and burning shit, and blowing shit up..

Thank you. It always makes us a little less jaded to new people.

Now if someone could just pick up the English guy who happened along a day late, that'd be great.

I really love dealing with banks..........the people are fine, at least the ones at the desk or counter. But the "behind the scenes" decision and rule makers? not so much.

Banks are simply loan sharks and racketeers that the law says is "legal". I avoid them at all costs. I have a "very good" net worth, but they won't lend me a dime since I have not had a "job" in 30 years. Fuggers. Makes me want to go crawdad trappin'.

Playing with speakers and little amplifiers... new combinations and looking for the *perk* experience on a shoestring budget. Making a mess. One benefit of having weekdays off is that the neighbors are gone and I can make a lot of noise.

I got tickets to see the theatre simulcasts of the Grateful Dead farewell concerts. Can I go back, not sure its possible. Bruce Hornsby live channeling keyboard is something special though.

Coffee, please and thank you.

Absolutely love crawdads. You 'uns mak me some etouffe', eh, cher?

We're back to normal now in CoMo, now that we have Glenn's Café back. They serve a wonderful blackened red snapper, crawdads on the menu, and oysters, and hush puppies, and ..............I think I feel a weekend Cajun feast coming on......

Annoyed Baby says stop insulting good corn. Or maybe you just don't have it where you live.

Husked cob into a pot with maybe an inch of boiling water. Steam no more than five minute. You don't need that other crap, unless you have crappy corn. You're giving me a headache.

Howdy Bin! I had a great day yesterday. Today was productive, got most of the flashing installed on my camper shell. Got an owey from a socket wrench, so I'm taking the rest of the day off. Well, no tools. Waste water course proceeds apace. How are you doing Bin? Will you cross the continent to hang out with us in a couple months?

Hi, Robbie! Will take an early trip west to visit family and friends and be at Ygmir's hof party. Pretty wobbly overall, Burning Man not happening for me.

From Maryland, you have good corn?

**harumphs loudly**

Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas ALL have superb home grown non-GMO legacy seed sweet corn. Nothing else like it in the world. Steamed in the wok, which does it evenly on all sides. You cannot top that.
