Not a fan of the Fiesta, but I do like Fire King, especially jadeite. I have the cabinet for my vaseline in a room where I can switch in blacklights in the overhead fixtures. I know all about my depleted Uranium, my brothers were serious marble collectors, which spills over into glass. One even wrote books.

I love this board because while we all have one common interest, there's so much other interesting stuff people here know about and discuss. Most boards are a hell of a lot more topic-specific. And they get old quick.

There is more than one of those.

Don't concern yourself about where they are. Concern yourself with your own experience.

Yes, Emerald City.

Did you click on their bait? Yes you did. $ka-ching$.

The story of stone soup.

I am a
a Virgin
b Veteran of __ years
coming to the Black Rock City of burners.

I'm taking the
a plane
b GT
c BExpress
d riding in my friends/ ex'/ stranger's/ RV/ van/ pickup bed/ hitchhiking/ riding my bike/ parachuting/
e stowing away (shh!)
so I cannot bring my stuff.

Now of course my stuff is awesome. It is awesome for me for sure.

Now in making this awesome sauce, it would improve the quality of the burn for you if you could only bring my 20 gallons of water.

That would be so awesome. Thanks!

You know what would be more awesome? If you could bring my grey water system. The entire burn will benefit awesomely if I am clean! Thanks!

#stirs the pot

You know what would be more more awesome? If you could bring my girlfriend/boyfriend/best friend since I was two/my friend flying in from <exotic destination>.

This is getting more awesome by the minute!! But what would make it more awesome would be for you to bring my
a pharmaceuticals
b food
c shade
d all the parts for a giant art project
e tanks of dangerous/ harmless/ explosive/ gases
f 96 pound propane tank
g 50KW generator
h a crane
i 65' dome
j 53' container from Bruno's

Of course after the gift of you transporting each of these awesome things that will make the burn epicer and epicer, you know what would be even more awesome? If you could transport it all back out at the end! Because I and being such a good burner by not burdening the roads with my sh*t.

Oh yea, if you could bring my TICKET!

And so the burners lived happily ever after because all the burners stomachs were warmed by the generosity I am entitled to.

The end.

WTF is with these people who build an art car, then look for someone else to transport it a few days before the Burn?
Step NumberONE if you fancy yourself driving a glowing giraffe from outer space on the playa is making sure you have the means to get it to the playa. That's not the last step.

Well he did say his transportation plans fell through, but if I were bringing an art car, I'd definitely have a backup plan. And then probably a backup for that too.

RAAAAAARGH *foaming at the mouth*

DO NOT PARK IN FERNLEY OR GERLACH OR NIXON OR WADSWORTH AND WAIT FOR A "MIRACLE!" You are being a bad neighbor, screwing up traffic patterns, risking a fine, and risking the entire event.

Also, miracles don't exist.

Right, I forgot about that. Also, The Spa in the Playa Hotel has those double key lockers right next to the concierge's office. I must be getting old. Sorry 'bout that captain, we must be inclusive. :coffee:
