Not at all. The tall one goes together on it's side, then you just tilt it upright. I typically build in a manner that one person can put it up.
I should have the top bit finished for the big one in a few days.

Heres the Pedicab, Im grinding off all the yellow/rust and priming it white, the black on the tongue is from before we got the white primer.

Been caught up in my (our) big project and gold panning to work on the small things. But your armor has given me inspiration to dust off the MC armor project I've been dreaming of foxfur. Hopefully it'll be ready in time fro 4th of juplaya.

Yeah, they had one of those last year but it wasn't big enough for my dad so we got this, and yes, it will be towed by the silver "Mongoose" in the back of the picture we just need to find/make a coupler/hitch to attach the hiem joint to, the guy we bought it from couldn't find it. at least that's the plan... Along with the 15 other projects you can see in the picture haha.

Note to self: Wire brush wheel works much better than the 3M paint stripper wheel I bought. Got about 5x the amount done and the brush hasn't worn down at all when I was going through the other wheels in about an hour. Got the whole bottom ring of the trailer stripped today, had to stop because the air compressor was starting to get hot.

Yes wire brush wheels are great for getting down to nice steel. Just watch those flying loose wires! A magnet works awesome for cleaning them (and metal cuttings/shavings) up in the shop and even better on the dirt or playa

Yeah, I had to pull a couple of the wires out of my clothes, good thing none of them had enough speed to break the skin. I used one of the paint stripper wheels on the gas tank you see on the ATC you can see to the right and it worked great and barely wore down so I thought it would work for this too, but I guess the paint wasn't as thick.

Holy cow!
I was going to do some subfloor repair to my little Casita trailer. I cut the

carpet and most of the subfloor came up with it!!! It was that damned OSB

chipboard. Totally wasted and rotted. The fiberglass outer shell had settled

and the frame punched up into it. The floor outboard of the frame is sagging

and deformed. I ended up simply (or not so simply) tore out the entire mess.

I was so disappointed, my foxy ears drooped at the thought of all the repair

it is going to need. I moped back and forth to the shop getting more and more

tools out. I was so frustrated. This is NOT what I had planned

Sitting there in a funk a thought came to me. WWFJD? What would Figjam do?

Seriously. I could see him screwing up his face, tongue sticking out the

corner of a grin and just gettin on it! I ended up having to remove the gas

lines, electrical harness, AC wiring, Water heater, water tank, water pump,

seats, table and base, and sidewall carpet!
I bought some fiberglass cloth and resin. Never worked with it before but

it's just like applying the Sno-Seal elastomeric roofing compound like Figgy

used on his trailer. I put down 7 layers over each of the cracked shell frame

holes. I love that fiberglass repair stuff.
I sealed up all kinds of other floor holes and empty screw holes in the

walls. No wonder the floor rotted out!
Went and got some pressure treated plywood. I made all the measurements, cut

out the fore end for the wheel wells, cut perfet radiuses on the the aft end.
I brought it into the trailer to lay it down and FUCK! There was no possible

way that I could maneuver the plywood to fit it in! I ended up having to cut

it in two.
The rains came back on Monday so I had to jam all the uninstalled crap back

in the trailer and haven't any room to work in there now.

Dammit Bill! What'd you do to my floor???

Peek a boo, I see structural damage...

Port side repair.

Now I wanna build things with fiberglass!
Think I'll wait til this project is done...

yeppers, when you are done there will be no surprises. you might want to install some pvc or flex conduits for wiring, fiber optic lines, databus,etc.

maybe some secret hidey-holes. about the size of a .45 auto or an M-4

Stage 1 done, now to paint it green, sand smooth paint again, then...? Im sure there will be something, nothings ever finished around here just paused.

And one with the cushions that will be covered on it for example

Still need to figure out what I'm gonna do to the rims and tires.

Great idea. You know those little plunger magnets for gold panning? We run a 3 inch dredge with two end to end sluiceboxes and have loads of concentrates to process. Ended up getting a 15 pound capacity one at the mining shop. I'm bringing it for sure! I'm bringing other tools that make big pieces of metal into small pieces and that would be perfect!

Finally amassed all the notions to construct the steam punk coat...three days in a row I spent my lunch hr scouring fabric and hobby stores

Jella! I can't wait to see your steampunk coat. I expect to be nothing less than amazed. I hope to be good at sewing one day (so many ideas).

Spent the day with EspressoDude. Got sweetpea a new poncho liner. I kind of wrecked the one she brought home from the army. She's so happy

I'm so blown away with eDude's technical prowess and extreme ingenuity. To use a superlative less than genius would be like kicking him in the shin. I am humbled.
Thanks to him I now have my evening wear. He gave me a Body Glove full wetsuit much thinner than mine. It's ~3mm neoprene where my other one (way too tight) is 6-7mm thick. I can actually move around comfortably, yay!
It really works out great with the barbarian ghetto shoulder pads.

Maybe I'll paint it silver for that spaceman chic look...

I may cut up my old suit for material to use for ???
I'm also working on breaking down some old leather boots by tremulously cutting each stitch with a scalpel.
I'm planning on making twin Tabasco holsters so I won't be caught without. I might end up making a bandolier that can carry the whole 8 or 9 flavors they make.

I brought the shoulder pads so he could check it out. He read the message tags and told me I need professional help

It's not breathable, but if it drops to just above freezing again this year, Foxfur will be very comfortable.

I tried on a half-sleeve, short-legged version last year, and it was so warm I wanted to pass out in the store. Then I bought it.

Doing some upgrades to Rock Yer Balls for this year! Replacing all of the wooden pulley mounts with new steel brackets shown in magenta. Every time it gets used, the new weakest link shows itself! LOL Take that!!
