Your post was OK.....and apology is not needed....we love you anyway. It's been my experience that millenials are go-getters, young people who just need recognition of their superior tech skills. Nope. Gen Xers are the ones within that I use as investigators....they tend to really pursue problems and good or bad, give you a result you can hang your hat on. Hardcore data seekers.Simon of the Playa wrote:so what's gen x?

They aren't chopped liver, they make sure that the liver is working right. They are also hardcore.

Re: Politics, Everyday, All day... morning, noon and night....II
I'm really looking forward to the day, if it ever occurs, when Trump tweets are treated like Al Qaeda beheadings.
Remember when Al Qaeda beheadings were all the rage on the mainstream media? It was like every second day some new video would surface from Iraq where some poor sap was getting his head sliced off by some radical Islamic fundamentalist trying to horrify Western audiences.
Then all of a sudden it seemed to stop. No, not the beheadings, but the coverage of the beheadings. Western media organizations came to the conclusion (or were told) that all the publicity surrounding the beheadings were encouraging more beheading videos. They stopped showing the videos and giving them all the attention the beheading perpetrators wanted. (That was the story anyway; maybe the shock value wasn't paying dividends anymore). Al Qaeda also wised up to the fact that beheadings were damaging its credibility and goodwill among its audiences, and encouraged its affiliates in places like Iraq to tone it down.
The same kind of thing was done with shooting rampages and suicide/suicide contagion. Provide less publicity to discourage the follow-on impact.
If you keep giving something attention -- such as Trump's ridiculous blabbering on social media -- you get more of it. Yeah, I realize that Trump is to be the acting POTUS in a week or two, and he is not to be ignored in most things concerning his office. However, we don't need to be "informed" about things such as Trump's useless response to some equally useless declaration by an actor at the Gold Globes. Nor his blabberings about Hillary, or journalists, or even what he thinks about investigations.
Trump's entire Twitter feed and any other rant-outlet should be outright ignored. Nobody takes it seriously (despite what the speculation-journalism complex would have you believe), and anything worth listening to can be voiced through more official channels like previous presidents have used.
To that end, I'm also going to call people out (friends, collegues) when posting links to "news" concerning whatever dumb shit Trump said that the news covered. It's really getting old. It's not even news. Topics about policy? Fine. Speeches? Sure. Who Trump inadvertently pissed off? Yeah okay. His asshole cabinet pick? Whatever.
Twitter blabberings? No thanks.. er, I mean NO. GTFO.

Hmpf. You could have done better than to recycle a piece of the old Yellow Submarine cartoon. Especially, since the modern millenials version of the Blue Meanie comes straight off the ol' WWE teleprompter- .
It's much more worthy of a wizard like you to harken back to the old Ralph Bakshi era, and compare Trump to Blackwolf. Dude, the signs are all there. Putin hangs with the leader of the ultraright Russian nationalist bikers known as the "Nightwolves". Just remember, at the end of the movie, the good wizard still has one cute trick up his sleeve.
Remember it and learn something.
