Beautiful cat!
The loss of a pet can be tough for many people. I cried more when we lost Owl in 2009 and Alley in 2012 than I did when I lost my parents in 1986 and 1996.

Hearing you loud and clear on that one - my current cat is so good* I tell myself (now at least) that I'll not have another. No doubt another little furry bugger will make me fall in love again though.

Just found out that a friend who I have been searching for almost since I was out of high school, died in an ATV accident. It came as quite shock. Funny how things like that affect you. I haven't seen or heard from him in 35 years, but I always thought I would find him. It just seemed that he always zigged when I zagged and we just never did connect. Now I find out that he ran a 3 wheeler into a tree 20 years ago.

Goodby Terry, we had a lot of fun didn't we? I'll come looking for you when I get on the other side.

I appreciate the condolences. Tatonka, that video was perfect. And Bin, long time no see...thanks for the post.

I got married on Sunday, October 13th. 3 days later hospice called and said she was slipping. Thursday afternoon they said get here as she took a turn for the worst. McCarran handles 40 Million people flying in and out of here, yet I could not get a flight out no matter what I tried to do. I ended up giving up on flying and hopped in the car.... Red Bull gave me wings enough to drive nonstop over night....and I almost made it to the Texas border when I got the call that she had passed.

In short the past two weeks have been an emotional roller coaster...
The final papers were signed today, cremation is set for Monday or Tuesday.

I hope I can take one of her small art pieces and place it in or close to the temple next year...

With that I'll shut up...but the thoughts and kind words are appreciated.
