We had a great trip to the islands, but actually ran into some trouble. Had our luggage swiped, right before we were going to come home. I had to transit through DC in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt in zero degree weather.

New Zealand? Probably not, but there is a chance I'll go back to Australia again. Whuts up in NZ?

Sorry. There really wasn't enough info to follow. The beer I put up was Canadian and so was the one you found, and I call them both liquid bread, partly in honor of the ultimate dark bear (Guiness) which is widely referred to as such. Knook is slang for Canadian. I glean there may be an association between Canada and dark beer, which I never knew before.

What do you think?

Sorry, I was a bit slow on that one.

I guess I am also more fond of the more mellow dark beers. When I was in Ireland, most of the pubs featured Guiness which was just a little to chewy for my taste.

Wow BC... I missed that one too. I guess my sense of humor is a little out there. :) I was just playing on the fact that the Natives (eskimos) who live way up north cannot grow wheat so they have to ferment something else to make beer.

Hi Sput. Mmm mm, that's some pretty tantalizing java you got flowing there. Would the headache have been from Mardi Gras drinks or early Ash Wednesday smokes?

I was telling titwi that if I did home brew, I'd have to make a dark beer so I could call it Big Cock Bock.
