Blue Hawaiians are awful. In fact, a good piece of advice: Never drink anything alcoholic that's blue. They tend to come back a different color.

They're bringing a piece of the plane this year to be set up in their theme camp as a first class lounge kind of place. To get in you will have to line up at check in and check your emotional baggage and then go through an insecurity check. They plan on bringing the actual art car next year. It all sounds pretty cool.

What Jovankat said. They're definitely committed, and are willing to put in the work to do it right, and my understanding is that a few months in they realized that doing it right probably meant a couple years worth of work. Good on them for the determination, and wanting to do it right.

Very fancy drinks, FaeTora. I hope 'after the morning I had' is a good thing and you're celebratory

I'll pass though, for me it's time for a couple beers. Yesterday had a ton of build-related work, and today more of the same. I got all my ShopBot time booked, and the next week is going to be insane for me. Half my sessions are in the middle of the night, and I'm juggling between everything ranging from setting up an art exhibition to catching the Chemical Brothers show.

On a side note, apparently it's "national tequila day" - surely a marketing ploy, but also a reasonable excuse to imbibe if you're so inclined

I'm off to run the digital calipers on my lumber and check my design files one more time before tomorrow morning's session. Cheers!

Dr. Pyro, I got just the stuff for you. Ever heard of a 'Horny Toad'? Think green. Sauza Hornitos tequila mixed 1:1 with Midori melon liqueur. Tastes great, and it's mean and green.....

It's great advice to not have expectations when coming to the playa.

This applies to most things in life, but especially in your relationships.

When I was in college my friends would often hang out in the gaming section of our local pub because it was the only place they were allowed to smoke. The bar had a free tea and coffee machine for the people who were in the gaming room gambling all day and I would use it to make myself hot chocolates. The bar staff kind of resented that.

Hi GH! yeah, so far, the fire seems to be going north, and I'm east.

4K acres as of last night. hoping the cool night helped in lay down........
It sorta distracted from work yesterday, all the fire planes going over, even the big jets were here! lots of homes threatened, hope folks are safe.
I have Frankencamper all set, though if it's a crown fire, I'm just leaving. I have good insurance........
