I distrust "tort reform" answers. It may mean people then get away with neglagence. A lot of the increasing cost of medical care is new treatments and expensive drugs and machinery--not malpractice insurence. . .

Farmer's Markets, and tomatoes are a summer crop. LIve without in the winter. (beter than eating those other things. . .)
Actually, the Florida tomatoes should now be online again. They took a hit from the hurricanes but should be 100% back by now.
Shipped from Florida to California. Honey, that aint real food.

Google turned up
this url among others. But basically there are stationary type stores that produce them for businesses and whatever, several in downtown sf, including one a few blocks from where I work. Depending on your town, you might prefer to order on the net or by mail. Or maybe you don't mind. But they make return address stamps and endorse check stamps and I assume that if you order in bulk the price goes down.

Blue--have you done anywork with jigs? I have an idea for a project at the Eplaya Camp for next year and it would be great to have a co-teacher. It sounds like you have the wire skills.
I can't say I know what you're talking about when you say jigs. I'm pretty self taught when it comes to the wire stuff. But I seem to have a knack for working things out. I'd be willing to help out with your project as much as I can. Though I don't consider myself an expert.

This is a jig

Basically I'm thinking of making several "Man Jigs" and having a demo/class at the camp. Actually, I got the basics at a bead store in one evening. It would just be nice to have someone who knew the basic jewelry loops. I could bring beads for the man's head and I could do link-the-parts-of-the-man together or one-solid-man.

Corrine Gurney is the woman I bought my jig from. She's a great shows woman and a former (1960s) go go dancer. From somewhere in Washington.

Ooo how pretty, thanks Jason.

Fish, I get it now. I can't say that I know the basic jewelry loops because I do everything free hand with pliers, and I've been completly self taught.

I like this idea and have been thinking about a wire man as well. But haven't decided how I'm going to do it yet. I may just have to play around awhile. What type of wire are you planning on using?

Probably something like this.

Although I do have some old copper and brass wire that I could bring, even some galvinized steel. Thicker gage, depending on the size of the jig and project and colored if possible with budget etc. I'm a horrible colorist.
