I feel post-atively cheerful this morning.

Must be that extra hour I found.

Octopus at the market in Japan?

I'm betting not pulpo in Spain.

Is it making you nauseous, Deb?

Well nauseous might be a bit strong but I find it unsettling when I can't identify what looks like its being sold as a food substance.

If it's octopus in Japan, they can keep it. I've always find octopus has the texture of rubber.

I truly hate daylight savings time.
It was created for people using sunlight as their primary light source.
If someone wants to get up early, they should just set their alarm clock and leave the rest of us the fuck alone.
I finally reset all the forums I'm on.
And clocks.

This computer mysteriously reset itself.

Goddamned clock molesting motherfuckers!
And they have it all backwards anyway.

they have what backwards? daylight savings time is what just ended, methinks?

i like the way we do it... but you can't please everyone.

did you know that china has only one time zone, set for beijing? dawn for people in the western part of the country is always well into the morning.

It is intended to have more daylight in the evening at the sacrifice of the morning.
Made sense 100 years ago.

If someone wants to do something earlier, they should just do that.
Nothing stopping them.

If it's a good idea part of the year. why not the rest?
Pedestrian deaths go up in the morning too.

One benefit is supposed to be kids going out, but putting prime time tv earlier has the opposite effect.

Just decide on a clock and leave it alone.
Reliable time was one of the great advances.
This is an annoying step backwards.
And it has caused the issues synchronization was intended to stop, train wrecks.

If anyone finds a different schedule better, fine.
No need to interfere with the clocks to do it.

As the old saying goes...

and sew it to the bottom
it is still the same size."

it's not easy to find a foot at the top of a blanket.

Although if you found feet at the top
AND at the bottom
it could be interesting.

Yes, but I have spent enough time in Gerlach that we must have driven past each other, sat at Bev's, or eaten at Brunos at the same time. So in that respect youd recognize me.

Ill be on playa this friday for more playa fun in the way of a 42000HP jet powered jet car going for the record. More drinking fun at Bev's Woot!

later all

I lived near the equator for a few years and I really missed the length of the days changing, and daylight savings time. Barbequeing dinner in the dark was something I never got used to. I wanted it to be light until 8:00 a couple of months out of the year.

Have fun with the jet car folks. How is Bev doing anyway? A report would be nice. Does she still have help at the bar? Give her a hug for me.

But I'm still not going to stop posting, since you didn't ask! :D
