okay, folks...

i'm on a vigilante mission... cleaning my apartment....

it started at work. I'm pissed about my employee being hired just to get laid off, I feel terrible (though he tells me not to: I can't help it), and so, when the regional told me to get rid of all the office furniture, I decided to sell it. so far, so good. so I just went on this spree, pricing everything I could think of. now I'm purging my apartment (just of garbage: not really of STUFF)

feels good.

anyway, I need a quick brewsky, and then I'm back to work!

Duke, Rodent was in here the other night with an idea that I think you would be up for. Have you heard about the Gonzo Rampage?

GeE I really like purging too, of the not-needed stuff. Feels good to just get rid of it. I feel like I need to hang on to so many things just because and you never know, I might use that in 50 years! But clutters too much. Yeah. I'm a packrat.

The Gonzo Rampage (or the Rampaging Gonzos).

Picture this, April 1st, Las Vegas... 20-100+ Hunter S.'s wandering the Vegas Strip, seeing how many casino's we can get kicked out of, nothing but a sea of cigarette holders and hawaiian shirts, mumbling semi-incoherently, perhaps with a few "lawers" in tow, behaving "like the village drunkard in some early Irish novel... total loss of all basic motor skills: blurred vision, no balance"

Starting out at The Pink Flamingo (of course), it would be sooooo WRONG... in all the right ways...

Fuck! It looks like our east-coast isolation is going to end, sooner than expected. Just had our whole footing ripped out from underneath us.

It means my wife has just been recommended for an "administrative separation from service" in the navy by a psychologist, and we're going to be jobless and homeless in about 60 days.

That's a bit of an understatement. Something more like "GodFuck!" Or "Fuck God in the ass until he chokes!" if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

The DoD will pay to move us back to UT, and we can make a bit of money by doing that cheaper what they pay us for, but then it looks like bunking with Anti-M until I can get a CDL and go out OTR with her husband in order to pay for an apt.
