oh, I'm a chaser mostly. those silly little rabbits!
had one particularly entertaining pair of mouth breathers.......so high they hardly could talk, and when they tried to run it was like slow motion, except when one got launched over the snow fence (whistling looking skyward) on his way back out, as they fell every few steps of the run. He was carried out later by LE, somewhat muddy, and little bloody on the forehead and stuff, from falling so much. He obviously made it in through a section away from mine.

Hooray for a break in the weather, and sounds like a great weekend overall ('cept for that migraine), hooray Ygmir! I'm curious about how things went for Elorrum too. Things around here are looking all mucky and gray this morning, and I think the forecast is for more rain. It won't be enough to get us out of the drought mode, but maybe it'll help get more snow up into the mountains, and every little bit helps.

I love that beer mitten too, hell depending on how this year's weather goes that could end up being perfect for night drinking on the playa. It hasn't gotten very cold at night in the last few years, but you never know...

Congrats to everyone, by the way - we hit 50K users yesterday.

So last night...

I'm buzzing down the street, and, well, some guy drives up and tries to clock me. We finally agree that ~5mph is right. And he stops the car and he tells me a bunch of jokes and we chat, and he lives around here and has seen me whizzing by. And he's a little drunk and just turned 40 a couple of weeks ago and he can tell that I'm younger by my eyes...

Okay, maybe it's some sort of con.

If not, whatever it is that I have, I've still got it...

Good Morning All !

Today I put cream, whipping cream , in my tea ! Yes, delicious .

Somehow I want to get some food supplies from my car to my son on top of Mt. Tam.
(the one who skateboarded in the rain from Coit Tower) no real stairs, just gush.
Elorrum, maybe that stick of yours .
A zipline would be good.

Coming down on my butt.

Looks like this one is either Nevada, Wyoming, Montana or Colorado.

The moose and grizzly make me think Wyoming or Montana. Perhaps up near South Pass City, about 40 miles outside of Lander? Not far from Red Canyon, but up a ways in elevation.

Nice little Tuesday morning surprise, it looks like they opened up the gates on the participation forms a little early this morning. For those who have all their stuff together and are chomping at the bit to get their stuff submitted... have at it!

It'll probably be another several days before I get everything together for my camp. There are a couple tweaks to make to my layout and some details to review, it's all coming together nicely.

I believe that's Cafe Vienna-style, isn't it? It's the nice way to start (or end) the day.

Pretty much "mit" is with, and "schlag" is beaten, I think, or whipped--the cream itself doesn't come into it...
It can be abbreviated further to "cafe mit", I hear.

Awesome picture! Now I can't help but wondering if the section is for people who are planning to entertain fish guests, or if they're looking for fish that entertain... such as a juggling octopus or a puffer fish whoopee cushion or something.

Today turned yummy on me. Pandorra had planned to take the day off to get a bunch city stuff done (forms, paperwork, and assorted bureaucratic nonsense), as well as get her sewing machine taken in for cleaning and maintenance and whatnot. She got finished earlier than expected, so we met for lunch at the local corral of food truck awesomeness. We got a perfect pairing too - her favorite place (a chowder-mobile with the best lobster roll she's ever had on the west coast) parked next to my favorite truck (bacon bacon). Mmmm bacon fried chicken... Afterwards, we wandered over to the local big box warehouse joint to stock up on vodka and vicious chemicals, and she got me the fancy stuff for impending birthday shenanigans. I'm feeling very posh and deluxe.. drinks all round!

posh and deluxe, a good feeling, trilo. Sunday morning's pie throwing was as pathetic as I expected, but many people seemed to enjoy it, so go figure.
