and make coffee ... thumps ECM
Grai, you'll get a ticket. Bound to happen. I wanted a presale for my nephew, he's on a sub and can't even send an email much less get online. He knows he should have time off and asked that I pick him up a ticket; he can afford one. I have to figure out how to buy three of the damn things.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
It's been years since I welded, but I remember the black acetylene specks floating down "POP" I just flashed on that image when you mentioned your project, yg. The hof stove looks so amazing. The hinges look great. To my mind, just getting so many parts square is a great achievement. I imagine way above my skill level, and practice is a hard concept for me.
ow, $650. I'll throw my hat in next years process for tickets.
Icy this morning, but I seem to have apt. neighbors this season who are intent on keeping their homes very warm. I benefit and haven't turned the heat on yet. Probably will today though. I need to dust my little fireplace and make some soup for next week.

There is a party today at work... It's a day off for me, but I am considering a little blue tooth ambush of the sound system.

haha you guys are funny!! The tough guy image you portray, when really I'm a tender pink cherub, just wanting to play my harp and color inside the lines.
Elorrum: you know you're welcome to try some welding, I've got MIG, stick, and acetylene, you choose.
All are welcome at my shop, in my world.
A cartoon is poignant today, but necessary. I do, though, find myself teary, off and on.......damn humans!!

Hello (((everyone))) gosh I think I just come in here to sniff the dust and "hear" y'all talking.
It really helps. I am having another slam-bam December, too many things to do and not enough days left, even after I cut out everything that's not really fun
I still have too much to do.
One thing I am NOT going to do is buy a $650 ticket, I can tell you that right now. Leave those holiday tickets to the rich folk.

hidihio!
Well I am trying to be optimistic about tickets. I made it last year and I will make it back this year. I am a bit worried that the Price increase will be hefty. The Christmas Ticket increase is 50%, I expect the Increase in open sell tickets to be about 25%.
So I'm having a un-fun Saturday I was supposed to be at Seattle Sanarchy but my Santa suit is MIA. really bummed out. I think I'll have a drink and go sit in the tub.

Santa crawl is here tonight in Reno. Estimates of 15,000 people will be out there tonight. Not me, I shall stay cozy in our bar right here...

Pandorra and I are checking in from our local. SantaCon is off and running through the city on what's so far been a soggy/dreary day, I wish 'em well. Beers and yammering and finishing up our camp preliminary camp planning before rollout to campmates net week. We're off to see Dylan Moran, one of our favorite comedians, at a nearby venue in a couple hours.

That can be somewhat of a tough decision to make Bin. Perhaps with boundaries/limits spelled out beforehand...
Good luck with the pondering.

dang Elliot, snow!! we're getting it here, too.
I designing and making the air injection ports on the Hofstove, and looked out, and it was snowing!!!!
Hi 420!! we almost came up for the santacon, but the weather looked so bad.
Dang Bin. It's never worked out for me, the couple of times people have needed a place to stay.
but as 420 says, maybe with definite boundaries.
well, here it is Saturday night!! What are fun people doing? you know those with lives?
*tapping head*
well, I'll have whiskey and hot water, and play some music.

Well, my landlord gave me another 5 day notice, and my bank sent me a "Final Notice!", and Unemployment still hasn't sent me a thing. I suppose it was merely August when I lost my job, so their reassurances should be enough for my landlord and bank.

Ha, good morning, let's have some coffee.
*starts ECM*
I missed our DC Santarchy yesterday
home working. But, I got a lot done. And the Earth continues to spin and wobble its way to the solstice.
I am so ready for that but I have not even started making cookies.
The new Hobbit movie has been a great gift. And tomorrow I will be gathering friends & family here to watch the Lord of the Rings movies, an all day marathon with beer and bacon.
A whole day in that other world.
Okay off to get shit done... I will take a (((hug))) first if you've got one, I love you guys.

What's a gilet? A vest? Sew a patch over it. Cut up an old shirt or something.
We have snow here, expecting more. Santa Rampage was last weekend in Vegas, 600 Santas and many bewildered tourists on Fremont Street. Chaotic enough, I can't imagine 15000!

Grai, keep it simple and break out the spray paint rattle can, it'll work juuust fine. FYI, Grai the more we get to know you the more we like you.
Actually I'm having a lousy week, we think someone is hitting The Kid's dogs (4 big 100+ pound beautiful Rottweilers). They jump and startle far too easily. So I'm taking the dogs in until we can devise a plan to catch the creep(s?) that or The Kid breaks his lease and moves to a new place. The camera will be my weapon of choice but I'd rather
well, you can imagine. I'm thinking it's best they all move to a new dog safe place in a nearby burg. In the meantime I am the "dog whisperer"

Thanks for the coffee (((((MDF)))))). Sounds like a fine, stress free day for you in the other world. Great pic Anti M Ho ho ho! Hey Grai, listen to Anti M, she's got the answers to most everything. Cold and wet here, so not likely we'll get in much tennis. Did a bisque firing last night so the studio should be nice and toasty for most of the day. So for today, I'll don my potter's hat and get creative. Bummer about the dogs, Moon. Whatever happened to live and let live? Enquiring minds want to know.
Hope you all have a fine day. Dives into the NEB.

I'm not following Moon: you mean, someone is hitting the dog(s?) while no one is home? or do the roam and are getting hurt? Dang.
Great Pic, AntiM!!
Hi Marty!! I bet the LYB society worships the rain gods.........I wonder if they have a statue of you all painted red with a spear like tail (?) horns, and a trident?
