Ahh so true. I believe it is human nature to make judgements. Anyone who says they are nonjudgemental is delusional. But you can re-evaluate your snap judgements and try to keep an open mind. I think it takes true awareness and real work to do this though.I’ve been treated various ways because of where I hail from. People assume things sometimes and I’ve had surprised looks when they find out I really can talk about something other than cast iron pans and moonshine (which aren’t half bad topics, by the way).

I think that would probably work a lot better than chaps. I like it, and say go for it.LeChatNoir wrote:You know, I think you may be right. I’d thought about that and was thinking about maybe even something more like Native American leggings (elastic topped) and a breech clout. Picture like thigh-high stockings, only (maybe now loose) bell-bottom leggingsI'd think that you'd have problems with the legs twisting and gathering

Blah.. what a waste. It WAS a good bar. It DID have good food. Tonight was the last straw for this place. And until they shape up they arent getting our money any longer.
I'm tired of short pours on beers, I'm tired of cold burned pasta dishes.
OK short pours on the beers when they are charging 4.25 for a pint is inexcusable.
So I will write them a letter when i'm more sober. I had 2 pints. Had to send my dinner back. It was inedible. It was cold and the pasta was under a heating lamp for far to long so much so that the pasta was crunchy.
So..screw it. Sure they have a wide selection of brews on tap. Its just not worth it. Had to wait for a table. Had to listen to screaming brats pounding thier silverware on the table.
I'll spend my money esleware. Sucks its one of the few good smoke free places in our area.
I'm still fuckin hungry.

Oh absolutly! But I admit that when I first meet people I make judgements. I think it's impossible not to. But I then remind myself to keep an open mind, and re-evauluate the person. I try not to treat people any differently. I make judgements about people based on how they present themselves. But I work to keep an open mind.LeChatNoir wrote:Yeah... I’ve said before that stereotypes exist because people exist who fit them.I believe it is human nature to make judgements
Just always try to remember that there are others who'll break those molds to tiny little pieces.

But for now. I will piece together some sort of food for me and or maybe just more drinking.
yea.. more drinking sounds good. I am gonna need some thing to eat besides that mediocre salad they gave me to replace my "dinner"
I havent had real REAL waffles in so long.
