Howdy, GS. I ended up changing my plans and staying in. I watched a movie (The Station Agent) and then I saw Sat. Night Live for the first time since oh about 1990. Therefore I have had a rested Sunday!!

Ms. Sky, care for a mimosa? Just fixed up a pitcher.

Lessee, today I am coughing up little pieces of my lungs and attempting to create a semblance of order in my house during my drug-induced (advil/tylenol) periods of afebrility before my children descend (they've been at the grandparent's all day).

okay, all. I've officialy joined the people who don't catch up with the bar thread... it's just too daunting.

however: I'lll tell you this:

this morning, I had fresh mimosas, for REAL, with juice squeezed from a juicer and lovely cheap champagne.

WOW. talk about decadent.

I also made brekkie: scrambled eggs, with onion, green pepper, and pepperjack cheese, friend potatoes, bacon for the meateater, and coffee.

And I have leftovers...

so: how has the weekend been going??

ooooh, me too. Thanks Ms. Sky. Do you mean to say then this is your first ever mimosa? Wish I could share a pitcher with you in real life! Yer not so close as memphis though.

Woo! the mighty mississippi. I get so excited coming upon the bridge......tis an unfathomably big river. I like to think of where all that water has gathered from.

Top: we (my so and I) used to have mimosas and a morning hottub, though we have fallen out of the habit. Mostly because our sleeping patterns have changed.... and we've been having Bloodies, instead. So this was an unusual for us, but hopefully will become a regular once again...

Yup, never had a mimosa before! I must say...very tasty!
(Raises her glass to everyone present)

Hello there, Guin!
It's going ok. Not crazy about going back to work in the morning but then who ever really is? Looking at the weather headed this way it's possible(but not likely) that they could cancel school if it gets too bad out. We're supposed to get freezing rain and snow.....yay...not
