My mom gave our dog a bad haircut too.....he feels much better now with about 3 pounds less fur!

Mercutio's isn't too noticible, unless you're looking for it... and with his hoodie on, you can't see it at all, so that's good.

Wanna know what it was? He's (oh, it sounds so silly) ALLERIC to fleas. Seriously. How some people are allergic to bee stings, and a single bee sting will send them into bad reactions (my brother is one of those)? That's how koosh is with flea bites. one bite and he's miserable.

good to know.

so, he's on antibiotics to solve the infection, and fatty acids (yeah, sparkletart for nailing that one!), and something else, I forget what. he's already a million times better, though... they gave him a steroid injection to help right away,and it did... he's himself again!!! AND...NO MORE ANNOYING ITCHING!!!

Did he get a flea on him? At least he's white and you can see them easier if he does.

He's a cutie, Guin! DOes he like wearing the hoodie? Mine refuse to wear anything. I got a cute little visor for Rudy a couple years ago when I was in Santa Barbara at the craft show they have there. But he won't wear it....I put it on and he paws it off.

when at the vet, we found a SINGLE flea on him.

One flea.

A flea.

and the vet was like "oh, there's the culprit", and I looked at her with wide eyes and said "that ONE little flea????", and then she explained it all to me.

I'm just happy it something I can treat easily!

Cute pooches. Sorry to cut and run, my mama showed up with the kiddos. She's depressing me further talking about my lack of employment situation. She suggested factory work at night, and she would keep my kids. Blech. I'd rather do transcription. Blech. I don't wanna talk about it anymore.

mercutio LOVES his hoodie. it's wierd. I expected him to hate it, but needed to get it because we go for walks in the morning, after he showers with me (yeah, yuk it up, all of yous... he showers with me!), and it gets too cold in the winter here---he STEAMS. But, even if we're just around the house, he finds his hoodie and brings it to me, so I can help him put it on.

never gone too far for too long, Ms. Sky.....actually, the kids just dragged her out to go see the neighbor's kittens. They've got me half talked into getting one.....twould be the BLACK one! Dunno if Miss Stella Cat would be so thrilled, or my pocketbook for that matter.

Did I tell you that I have a full 6-glass-set of leinie's pint glasses? I even have one that says honey on one side, and berry on the other. They used to serve pitchers of honey/beery at the bar three doors down from my apartment in college...

it cuts the sweetness of the BerryWiess, so's you can drink more.

and it makes it more like beer than like a winecooler, which is what beery weiss tastes like to me if I drink more than one.

It's loverly. It was even on the menu: HoneyBerry Pitcher, $4.
