Hope it helped giggles. How things?

The talk a page back or so about snow and how it makes things quiet reminded me of a camping trip once way in the middle of nowhere. It was snowing and we were staying in a small cave of a thing for the night. I went outside and just sat and listened. You could hear the snow falling. It was quite loud after you got tuned into it. But beyond that there was this silence... like being inside a well insulated box. Muffled, I think is the word.

I can feel the tequila working.
We went to the liquor store yesterday, cabo wabo was onsale. I know someone here said nto to get it. But I wanted to just try it out. If I dont care for it.. I can always go back to the don julio blanco.

This is the cabo wabo resposado. feels good.

That's funny LeChat!
We got about 9-12 inches of "Lake Effect" snow last night and today. Very pretty.....I'm just glad there's no school for a week and I don't have to drive in it. They cut the budget for plowing this year for some odd reason...like the Mayor is whacked! Did I say that?! OH!

I'm enjoying my Turkish coffee at the moment. I drank it all week long on the playa and it tastes oh so very good to me tonight. Reminds me of being there. *sign*

*sigh**grumble*

I think I'm going to tell them I'll only do half hte work for twice the money and see where that gets me. THey are obviously hard up if they are chasing after a flako like me. Not that I didn't do kickass work for them (when I did it).

Repeat to yourself Giggles, "I am NOT a Flako...I am NOT a Flako...I am NOT a Flako..."

What kinda work was it?

Medical transcription. And I'm not a flako, and yet I am. A paradox to be sure.

Certainly sounds like there should be more money in it if they're hard up. How does the work split up is there an amount that wouldn't be worth giving to you?

I don't know how much they make off the hospital, but they paid me a mere nickel per 64-character line I typed. I typed for another lady previously who paid me a nickel for every line regardless of character count. That was cooshy, but she didn't have enough work to go around. Also this company provides a fancy shorthand program which really boosts the efficiency of your keystroking. Keystroking. Sounds like it ought to be waay more fun than it is. Boring, boring ass job.

That sucks Giggles! Why isn't it hourly, or is by the line more money?

Yup, we got a lot of snow, Z! You got some snow then, too?
The M-Sky dome does not fair well.....I didn't get the conduit yet.
I was trying to build a small wood dowel dome but can't figure out how to keep the tubing together.
