Now, we're gettting somewhere.
Believe it or not, this was about all the threads in this forum that I don't even open, and just h ow depressing it was to look at Open Discussion sometimes.

It's Thursday and I am bored at work, so I am going to give a few thoughts on our friend and fellow poster, theCryptofishist.
I have gotten to know her on the boards here and have always been inspired by her wit and wisdom. One of my missions for 2009 was seek out and meet this clever poster. What I found when I got to Terminal City was an incredible person who probably worked harder than anyone at that event to get there. Despite incredible obsticles, she made it for the week and dealt with every slam that the weather and the event could throw at her. All this was done with a happy demeanor, since she was someplace she really enjoyed. I am not sure that I would have the stamina or energy to do the same if I were in that position.
Without being overly dramatic, meeting fishy was clearly the high point of my 2009 BM trip. YOU ROCK LADY.

Badger ain't shy, he has too much class to start his own vanity thread!Kinetic V wrote:He's just slightly jealous that nobody created a thread to celebrate his contributions (of which there are many), and he's too shy to do it himself!Badger wrote:This saddens me.
(Not meaning to be disrespectful, I'm just trying to have a little fun with the thread!)
Yes I realize this thread is all in fun and I sleep just fine at night.
I just think it's a bit fishy to start a thread like this about one's own self!
