The privacy thing with Facebook can certainly be an issue. It depends on where you are and what you do in the default world...

As far as I am concerned, this is me, deal with it!!! ;)

My family, friends and co-workers are all able to see my facebook posts and I am cool with that. Heck, it might help them to understand what makes me tick..

If we cannot be ourselves, are we really free???

It isn't your settings at issue.
It's the liberties and fraud bookface has been caught doing over and over.

I always assume everything I post or write on the net can be read by anyone... Like on a wall or chalk board (or party lines for those who used them). I have never trusted any corporation to keep my shit private. Hell, it is simple easy to set up a system that will read emails, look for key words or whatever.

I'm not sure where I was trying to go with that rant. but pfft!! 8)

I canceled my facebook on May 31st. Now I just have to have the self awareness not to log in for two weeks. (I sometimes log in to websites out of habit.)
