They gave me a Jesus and Mary Chain cassette and I gave them a Jimi Hendrix tape.
This is what I call an interesting trade, about two aspects. First, you trade a Jimi Hendrix "experience" with a Jesus & Mary Chain tape. That's must been a big change for them ! Thus, I noticed that the French gave you a "cassette" (a typical french word) and you gave them a "tape" in return...
There are gun ranges in Las Vegas where you can try out almost any type of weapon. The billboards are up all over the place
For a few bucks, I'm pretty sure they'll let me test the Bomb.

>MyDearFriend : Thanks for the hint ! Wi-fi could be a big help, given the fact that I'll also write some articles during my trip. Being a journalist, I can't help myself... The subject would be the relation of the Americans to the "religion" of the market, the consuming society, and if they still believe in it after the financial and economy crisis...

>Shambala, Jkisha : I'll look at it, but it still depends on if I can convince a friend of mine to come, or else if I first rent a RV and then pick up Burners who would accept to share the cost with me !

>Savannah : horrible story ! I think I'll take the Amtrak, given what you and the others say about the bus !

>theCryptofishist : hey, cool link ! I already spotted some interesting places.

If you do decide to visit several National Parks while you're here, which I would encourage, consider buying their annual pass (about $80) which will pay for itself after about the third Park. Good luck working out your plan, and have a great journey!
