I agree with Irreverent Moniker.... Sac town is awesome. You are very centrally located. You are an hour and 15 min from san fran which isn't a bad drive at all. You do get nice warm summers... but you are also only an hour and a half from the deep sierra mountains where there is plenty of snow boarding and skiing. You are perfectly positioned where you get the best of both worlds. It doesn't snow here but rain through the winter. Mid town is like a whole community in itself. Plenty of burners as well. As much as i would love to live in SF I find it affordable to stay here. Rent is low but you still make decent money as well.. Makes it easy to get ahead, that is if you have a job. haha. Best of luck to you love. Be wise and don't make any rash decisions without our opinion ;)

Hey...our 6 month 110 degree summers here in Sacramento beg to differ :)

I actually go to burning man to get away from the heat. Hell, on the first day of autumn last week, it was over 100 here.

I recommend moving to Sactown. Close enough to ski in the winter and go to the ocean in the summer, 4 hours from the playa, hot summers (if you're into that) and mild winters, with kick ass autumns/springs. There are also a lot of burners here, albeit disorganized ones.
:P
