It might be interesting to compare how the statistics of accidents involving cell phones compare to accident statistics before the cell phone era.

Well, I don't know much about that, but I have run on fatal accidents caused by cell phone use.
And 1 fatal from a loose horse.
And a double fatal from a sneezing attack (I shit you not)
Passing on a hill? Check.
Not paying attention to people on motorcycles? Check.
Having the "big one" while driving? Check.

And the number one cause of my responses to fatal accidents? Alcohol and drugs. Not surprising there. But cell phones are creeping up.
