BTW, are you doing the Finnish wife (husband) carrying contest during the festival?

Depends if you by "festival" mean the midsummer or the BM.

If the first, no, definitely not. I have never seen that contest anywhere but TV anyway. It is not so very common here as you might have lead to believe. ;)

If the second, and last years event will be repeated this year, we will try to at least come and watch and provide Finnish drinks to the winner and whomever. I won't make promises on the actual carrying, though. *grin* Also, we tried to be there last year (to watch anyway), but for playa-timish reasons never found the place of the contest in time, so I am kind of hesitant to promise anything for this year either. :)
