So while we're recuperating from last night, and waiting for things to happen (like good music and Yiggy's daughter to call...) I thought I'd share the newest installment in our murder plans.

Over breakfast this morning, my son casually mentioned that he thought it might be a good idea to take a picture of Ken before he got "rearranged and disappeared". My mind went immediately to "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN" signs for this winter. His was already staging a memorial (with a small picture and tiny flowers) at the end of the quai for next summer after he was found.

It's a pretty small community, so I'm expecting we'll hear about it when he is found.

Got to find (or sew) that man some boxer shorts and a small towel pronto and stage him down on the beach on the next sunny day!

A loving Barbie at his side in a fetching bikini would be a nice touch.....

Let's also hope for a window of weather up in Nevada. The BLM guys finally got caught back up enough from the shutdown to try and schedule our site inspection for this week. Just in the nick of time, too, I'm told that it was either get 'er done this week or it has to wait until next year. Well, wet winter weather happened and they had to scratch plans to get out there until Friday.

The weather in the bay seems to be brighter today. Yesterday seemed pretty gray and overcast, but today is brighter and the sun's getting through the clouds. Whatever the weather, today is largely indoors for me. Taking care of chores, plus continuing to work on our studio upgrade. I started a little while ago, I'm updating some of the primary machines and drives over the next couple months, plus upgrading the network it's all connected to. There's a lot of technical tedium, but the upgrades are worth it and I don't mind the work... and it will make for very smooth sailing when we're working on various creative projects either together or individually.

Kids have a way of maturing despite our best efforts to screw things up for them. Don't take that last too seriously.
