Rolling Homes: Handmade Houses on Wheels.
Isn’t that one put out by Taunton Press? Anything they print is a class act.

Amazon says it's published by A&W publishers. But Taunton sounds familiar.....from somewhere. I'm not thinking about Tauntauns either! hahaha!

Well, I think I'm turning in for the night. I'm just getting over a dang cold. Nyquil and off to bed for me.

Night, guys!

PS, add a T in front of hink.

Pith Helmet

Post by Mister Jellyfish Mister » Thu Mar 24, 2005 9:17 pm

Hey, Black Cat. When I talk to my cat I must clench my teeth and talk like Smagel Golum and say "Oh, you are cuuuuuute. Cuuuuute Cat. I'm gonna steal your braaaaain. My cuuuute cat." It's just something I must do.

Have you ever tried a true pith helmet for day wear on the playa? Can't beat the evaporative cooler effect when you soak the real tree cork in water and let it cool your cranium. French Vietnam style, wide brim in white. Tres sexy with a kilt.

Took some doing, but I researched the last 24 hours before the big-"crash" on the bar thread.. and both Guinivere & Blue referenced that they were off to take a shower.... then bzzzzt.. frrrp. blink!

spanky the monkey
pulling wires & short hairs
wet hard driving man

So, that's my theory & I'm sticking to it. Bob mentioned once a few years back that he has a waterproof keyboard, by the way.

WHoops, two hours later. Yes working, putting together JRS since tomorrow's meetingsmeetings and I really wanna get back on Friday schedule. I do my best thinking at night.

But sorta also IMing with Yomi in the UK about filming at Burning Man and planning a playa birthday party for my 34th and reading up on horrible Florida legislation about education http://www.alligator.org/pt2/050323freedom.php and just avoiding going to bed while in such an awake and agitated state.

And drinking Corona and figuring I'll be late for that 10 AM meeting about the media database.

Lots of activity on the windmill front. I've been working hard on a better design for the base. I think we've got the design just about right so that construction will be easy (ie no funky compound angles). A lot of discussion is happening about how to attach the turret now. We seem to be moving up. Over the next month we'll finish building the prototype half scale model and then we'll have a MI spring fundraiser where we will burn the model.

Coffee?

Sure, you can top me off....*sip* aaaaaahhh. (I wish I didn't make that "aaah" noise after sipping coffee. They even made fun of it on Seinfeld!)

I'm gonna have to clear my agenda so I can get over and pitch in on the windmills... at LEAST moral support. Wish this damn state wasn't so East-heavy on the regional front! Or that Grantholm'd get busy on I-94....

No, I missed it. Wasn't Kitty also driving a truck for a while too? Maybe I'll have to organize "Eplaya Truck Day."
