I'm gonna try that next time... sure beats blowing your brains out... which is so futile you really *do* feel like blowing your brains out!

Lessee.. little lemon... honey... brandy... warmed a bit... Here ya go, hon... hope you feel better!

Hmmm... better finish this one up, gotta go drop my love letter to the IRS and FTB at the USPS PDQ!

Hugs to all - see ya when I get back!!!

Oh... if you see Marie Antoinette's head... could ya set it on the barback between the stuffed armadillo and the pickled possum paws?? She's rolled off somewhere again... prolly looking for that Kernul Killbuck Action Figure... Anyway, I'll grab it later. Thanks!

Yo Sputnik -
Try a dose of homemade ginger tea. I brew it very stout and add lime and a dab of honey - seems to do the trick.

(edited to correct spelling, and because I can! Yippee!!!)

BTW, to all my buds here at the pub, Happy "I survived the Federal Tax Incursion" day... I think I finally made out on the + side - first time in many years... so...

FWOOOOOPPPPPPP!!!

Champagne all around! (And another hot toddie toke for Sputnik - I just got over it, and between the toddies and zinc-C's it kicked pretty quick... Iknow he's not here, but I owe him one anyway,..)

You know, if it weren't for y'all, I'd be sober far too often!! >>hugs<<

OK, just popping in for a minute to say that I've just about crushed whatever it was that was making my throat scratchy. By morning I'll either be 100% or it will make a comeback and I'll be feverish and achy.

Thanks for the extra help there BB Sue.

See you tomorrow.

Thought I'd drop you off a bourbon and honey to help with the throat, sputnik.

Hey guys, this is kind of a shout out to everyone. I've been working on my resume and I was wondering if anyone would take a look at it and give me some feedback. There are some things that I don't necessarily like about it, but I don't know what to put instead. Some of you had offered before, but I can't remember who. So, if your willing please email me and I'll send it to you (it's a Word document). Thanks!

Ditto here (but not ditto as in the Limbaugh... oh, never mind!!!)... pass it this way, I'll be happy to critique it (I do it enough for work, about time I can help a friend!!) and let you know how it reads...

It is so quiet in here these days. I need to do a strip-tease on the bar or something. It is tough when when all you are wearing is a bowtie and bowling shoes. So where are ya all?

Lurkin and drinkin????

(snags a now slightly stale, but still tasty donut)

mmmmm... donuts and red wine. You know... (donut crumbs flying as he speaks) now that you mention it, a Sandwichman strip tease might just bring in the crowds.

*M walks in the door-flap, grabs a diet choke and some popcorn, sits in her comfy chair and waits for the "Show" to start.......*

Did I miss it? Dang!
*tosses some popcorn in her mouth, sips some pop...grins as the pop makes the popcorn desolve*

(trying out the edit)again....

I'm doing much better then the week I was sick, that's for sure! I've never been so sick! I have been thinking that maybe it's my gallbladder, but several people at work have had similar symptoms, so maybe it was the flu thing. I'm even better because my computer was down all at the same time! I think I caught some lightening through my modem and into my power supply which I had to replace. Had to replace the modem too. The modem was at least free since I rent it through the cable provider.

*throws more popcorn in her mouth, swigs pop.....giggles after the popcorn dissloves*

I love it when it dissolves! Sorry! I think it's better with strawberry koolaid though. Wonder if there is some in the fridge?

Glad you’re feeling better.

*scratches kitty under the chin, runs hand down his back and to the end of his tail...smoothing out the fur*

Oh, I can't stay long either....got to get up at 5. Bleh!

*finds a packet of koolaid and mixes up a pitcher. Pours a glass and does the dissolving popcorn thing*

Lechat, you ever heard of the Cornhole game? It's a beanbag game. I am thinking about building a set and bringing it out to BM and setting it up some people can play.
