(Shakes her head, mumbles something about holy screwdrivers... Opens eyes...)

Wow, what a trip! Hey, what's this? Coffee! THANK you!!!

(Takes swig of blessedly strong coffee, then looks down at left hand holding a half eaten orange... tosses the orange into the fireplace, which flares up to a gentle roar...)

Man, what was *in* that thing?? COuld someone hand me that bottle next to the box of oranges?

(Pod drifts over to the bar, picks up bottle and hands to BBS...)

WHich vodka did I grab last night... Lessee... (Rubs eyes, squints, shakes head) E.... V.... E.... R.... C.... L.... E...

Is that vodka?? Wow! Hallucionagenic! Hey thanks for handing me that...

(Looks around, sees floating pod with hand sticking out...)

Yiii!!! Maybe I need another of those oranges! (eyes glaze over, knees buckle, and sinks down next to the fireplace...)

RobbiDobbs shuffles into the Bar holding a case of Hanks, a backpack and a big quilt. She spots the Dusty Couch next to the burn barrel, and plops down. Nobody is around, but there are remnants of much drinking, and the lingering scent of...

Oranges?

She looks behind the bar, and finds an ashtray and a garbage bag. She then tidies up the Bar. Once satisfied with the de-cluttering, she wraps up in the blanket and pulls out a book with TERRY PRATCHET on the cover. She cracks a beer, lights a cigarette, and snuggles down to read for a while, or at least until someone comes in.
I'll be in my blanket fort until further notice.

Hi Sputnik, sorry, I got lost in my book. Yes please. I'm in the mood for something with orangejuice in it for some strange reason.

Now I have to apologize. I went next door and talked a bot about other things (and got drunk in the process). Let me squeeze an orange into a glass for you.

<unnnhhhhhh>

there you go. Need ice?

And it’s good to see you here, robbidobbs...

You should know that because of you, last year I fished tings out of porta-potties that were not supposed to be there.

Oh... enjoy!!!

I just love stuff like that...

I’ve got a good friend who I haven’t seen in along time too. But come May the 6th, that all will change. Yeah!!!

Keep talking, by all means.

Yeah! he might come this year. I put the idea in his head, and he said he just might do it. He's in NY, so I turned him onto the NY Contingent. He's at about 75% probability of going. Now maybe I'll get to do him after all these years!

Sigh...

Hi Chat! So what was that about taking stuff out of the camodes? I appreciate the enthusiasm, but... Educating people about keeping the stuff from jumping into the dark deep might be a better use of your talents.

Is there more of what I was drinking, Sputnik?

Fishing... not taking. There's a difference.

And true, true about education... but there was stuff in them that shouldn’t have been there. Plastic bottles and such. I had to fish them out. I could not feel good about myself and walk off with it still in there. Just wasn’t’ right. Education and action... that’s the key.

Ok... black cats, coat hangers and garbage bags. There’s a mental image for you. Just don’t say I’m not a trooper for the cause.

Yep-a.
It just so happens that I brought bleu cheese and saltine crackers. What a coincidence! Let's party up!

A little asside: if someone is like swiss cheese, then their full of holes. I'm like bleu cheese, strong yet easily crumbled, and something kinda wrong running through me.

Sputnik, dahling. I'd like to put this Hanks on ice, is there room in the cooler?

Good nite Chat.

Apparently alone again, RobbiDobbs curls up on the dusty couch, self-made screwdriver in hand, and opens her book.

Hmmm... What a night! Coffee!!!!

(Unfolds herself from the corner near the fireplace, wanders to the bar)

All I remember about yesterday were these toxic oranges, and some alien hallucination, and something about a party. What a dream that was! Morning Fishie, Sput, 'Bot...

(Pours coffee, looks warily at remaining oranges in box)
