Rest in peace Joe Laurinitis, a.k.a. Road Warrior Animal who died l;ast night at the age of 60....long before he should have passed. Thanks to him for the millions he entertained around the world. His life was best described by his deceased tag team partner Hawk's statement: OOOOOOOHHHHHH WHAT A RUSH!..................

Spencer Davis, who as bandleader with the Spencer Davis Group topped the UK charts twice in the mid-60s, has died aged 81 while being treated for pneumonia in hospital. The group, who formed in Birmingham in 1963 and also featured Steve Winwood, had hits including Gimme Some Lovin’, Keep On Running, Somebody Help Me and I’m a Man.
He switched to an industry role in the 1970s, working with his label Island Records to help develop artists including Bob Marley, Robert Palmer, and Winwood’s solo career.

I saw them in concert in Oslo, Norway, in... must have been... 1964 or '65. Absolutely amazing music.
Rest in peace, Spencer Davis -- you made a significant contribution to my life.

My Dad. Having to read it about it on the 'Net, rather than hearing about it from a family member was a bit surprising.

So sad to hear David Prowse has passed. He was a kind man & much more than Darth Vader. Actor-Husband-Father-Member of the Order of the British Empire-3 time British Weightlifting Champion & Safety Icon the Green Cross Code Man. He loved his fans as much as they loved him.

I missed this...

Bill Withers died from heart complications in Los Angeles on March 30, 2020, at age 81.

Hits included "Ain't No Sunshine", "Grandma's Hands", "Use Me", "Lean on Me", "Lovely Day", and "Just the Two of Us".

The Animals guitarist Hilton Valentine, who created one of the most famous riffs in pop music in the 1960s, has died at the age of 77. The British band's version of blues standard The House of The Rising Sun topped the UK and US charts in 1964.

Our deepest sympathies go out to @HiltonValentine's family and friends on his passing this morning, at the age of 77.

A founding member and original guitarist of The Animals, Valentine was a pioneering guitar player influencing the sound of rock and roll for decades to come.
