Hi All!!!
Sorry I blew out earlier, but found a (don't fall over) default bar that (god/dess help me) could be on the playa. Toally by accident. People gifting food, drinks, everyone friendly as anything... I couldn't stop smiling. Makes me want to pull something off I swore I'd never do... maybe next year.
Costumes? I'm building a despoticly semi-evil wardrobe, another for workduds (like milkduds, but... nevermind >giggles<)... some vitally needed replacements for interrogation stuff, and some other more innocent stuff, like my tux tails and bowtie and fishnets... (Reminder - need good boots!!)... BTW, Zule, I have some leads on Vestments if you want the real deal (see, being raised Catholic finally pays off); p-message me if you want... (I thought about doing the nun thing but it'd be like boiling in renfaire garb!!)
And Damn, this East coast Sched Sput is on makes it tough to gift him a drink. Giggles, smooches your way, and if not b-4, we'll surely meet out there.
Anyway... SInce I was *so* delinquent before... And since it's still mostly here (and not flat)... Champagne is on me. Drink up, everyone, otherwise we'll have pink pinot noir as the house wine this weekend!!
ANd I hate to... but I should prollty call it a night. Finally decided to build a cage around the hot h2o heater in the basement, with all these earthuakes going on... (uncanny wierd) plus I need to do cCstco to get supplies and check out some other out some stuff (like these infamous garages) .. so if I fade away, I apologize B-4-hand...
So don't just sit there, drink!!! >grins<<

Gooooooood Morning, everybody!!!! Well, I made it!!! Man, was that a great trip cross the country, and fun too!! But, let me tell ya, being in a car for 8 days is a loooooooong time. Being in a car with someone 24/7 for 8 days is an even longer time. There were a couple times when Mom and I wanted to throw each other out the car window, but it was only because we were getting a little cranky from the drive. I wanted to throw her out in Arizona. She confessed she wanted to throw me out in Oklahoma.
Took our time, exploring America and all kinds of sights. Will try to send a small report about all the great sights some time. It was just fabulous.
AMERICA IS SO ABSOLUTELY AWESOME AND BEAUTIFUL!!!
One of the best parts of all was seeing Giggles, her mom, and her 3 gorgeous little angels!! Thanks, Giggles, for a really fantastic time!! I mean it, girl. You are the best. **big hugs and a big smootch on the cheek** I feel like I have known you all my life. How's Walter doing?
Folks, I gotta tell you about this great book: Walter, the Farting Dog. After having a few Fat Tires and visiting with Giggles and her girls, we took pictures and then Mama Giggles read a night-time story to the girls. I thought I was gonna pee my pants a few times, 'cuz not only was the story hilarious, the artwork/drawings were hysterical. Wished I could have stayed longer, 'cuz I sure did have a terrific time with you, Gigs. Wow...I gotta find that book. Be sure to say hi to your girls and your mom for me...and thanks again for such a wonderful time!!
Anyway, Mom and I were so tired of being on the road by the time we got to Jacksonville, Arkansas, we took off the next morning at 8am and drove straight on through to West Virginia. 16 hours. Holy crap. Talked to my girl, Samantha, and she is doing great.
I sure do miss her, though.
We have talked every night since I have been here. She is already asking to come out at Christmas. Yay!
I'll be staying with Mom here in WV for another week or so, and then I'm heading down to Charlotte/Cornelius, NC, to look for work and stay with my friends there. The South sure is pretty...and so green!! I think I'm gonna really enjoy this new chapter of my life out here. The last few days I've been relaxing, enjoying the great mountain air, staying OUT of any moving cars, and getting ready for Fire On The Mountain (Transformus). I'm keeping busy by making crafts and props for our Bahama Mama's Camp. It's gonna be a blast. Looking forward to meeting up with all the folks there!!
Well, look at me gabbing away... Time for some more coffee. Have a great day, y'all...
I am one happy monkey... HELL YEAH!!

A guy I know used to have a poster for it in a comic shop/gaming store he ran. I have never seen the actual book, though. (And haven't seen the poster since the shop went under.)Sensei wrote:"Walter, the Farting Dog"???
(puts book back in backpack, and picks up a stack of papers lying on a nearby table, noting that the author is someone named "Kristy".)
Uhm, excuse me for a bit!
