Mornin' campers!

Went to the Sacramento Valley Monthly burner meet-up on Thursday and played a game Cards Against The Playa, a burner rip-off (and exceptionally well done) of Cards Against Humanity. Even Barbie Death Camp was mentioned, albeit is a modestly nonpositive way, but hay, all publicity is good publicity I guess. The game is heavy on drugs, anal sex, sparkle ponies, and some of the unsavory underbelly of the playa. I loved it! It was originally manufactured by camp Miso Horny who I contacted but haven't heard back. Anybody have any idea on how to secure a copy of this game? There are a few people I wanted to gift them to.

I think there was a kickstarter for this^^^

This was played at a get together at Pineys in September. Not sure who had the cards but you could start there
Oh my god, it's HUGE!

It's a cold, overcast day. Why doesn't it rain? I'm having apple rounds in pancakes. I'm turning stuffed animals inside out. (They make great gifts.) Oh heck. I'll just sew.

Beautiful sunny day here, cool, but not chilly. Larry is doing house stuff outside, I am painting. I have purchased a booth at an expo in January. I need stock, slightly less wayward than usual.

Only sort of. You then have to get a company to print them. Miso Horny did get back to me and it was a good news, bad news situation. Oh well, it's not like I'm concerned about the cost.

Mr Pyro, Any decent large copier will take very heavy paper. (You feed it in the side usually). Then you cut em with a paper cutter. I make all kinds of things on card stock, 65 lb or even 144 lb. You can even make your own fancy custom backs. Sounds like a breeze.

I already know one individual who needs a set. I'll gift him at the Midwest regional. A couple of years ago, I gave him a hard hat with his event title position on it......"BBMFIC". He runs the regional version of DPW, called "The Leisure Army" Truly, All army and no leisure.....that's how they get stuff done like setting up the whole event. His position title?

Big Bad M_ _ _ _ _ _F_ _ _ _ _ In Charge. The cards will be used with much glee by him and his crew of minions, I'm sure. THANK YOU, nilasnake!

Hello Dear Bar !

Lucky, you and your fam are always wearing open heart

I think that some of the cards are too offensive so I am not printing them
but thank you anyway Nilasnake

I am indeed an old school Sparklepony
maybe I could come up with a somewhat lighter version because the concept is great.

Hey gang! Lemme tell ya about how I fooled myself!

This is the electronic calculator I have been using for maybe 20 years. Works great. Nice big buttons for my clumsy finger. Nice big numbers for my elderly eyesight. And solar powered!

Yessiree – see this little black window with the gray lines? Solar panel. So for 20 years I kept it by a window and it kept working.

Well… it finally quit working. But I figured it must have a built-in rechargeable battery, and maybe I could replace it – or at least strap a couple D cells to it with jumper clips.

So I opened it up.

The solar panel is fake! Not connected to anything! Just a random piece of plastic!

Instead, there was a conventional LR 1130 alkaline button battery, easily replaceable – which I did. Works fine again.

And I no longer “need” to keep it by a window.

LOL

Good Morning Dear Bar !

Elliot , I love your story
and will add it to my holiday tales for those I love but see only then

Yggy lovely day ahead
how are the critters ?

I am going out to restart my "discussion with the NF people from whom I bought
the best sleeping bag I could ...
and then on playa it kept me warm and feather drowned.
so I returned it and they repaired one tiny spot but the whole interior is wholly
so since then we send it back and forth.

HI ASD!!
critters are good, not as many since they don't look for water as much now. foxes, raccoons, deer, an occasional skunk, neighbor cats.

Yggy, I brought up the topic of critters because lately they seem to be venturing way too dangerously close to the modern world.
I mean if I am adapting to this "IT" surge

critters are coming into the confusion of it also.
Almost every day big young deer are wandering around here.
and neighbors worry about the coyote sounders and such

animal migration problem

Ah, so that random scrap of plastic is really a camera with built-in transmitter! How clever! Good to know somebody has been keeping an eye on the back of my garage all these years. If somebody had tried to steal my garbage can, we'd have proof.
