Good wishes for Wednesday, YG. Call me if you need anything. I can bring you chicken soup to speed the recovery. And listen to the 50 pound advice. You really do not need to prove anything to anybody, including yourself. Be cool and take the time to heal, boychik

Ah, a scar-off! Whoot. I'd have a lot more scars, but the surgeon keeps cutting along the same line. Four surgeries, one scar. At least I still have a belly button.

BBD!!!! Good to see you around these parts, even if it's only for a streaky minute.

Speaking of scampering, I need to get up and go. Lots to do today, farmer's market and then restaurant supply joint and regular markets and whatnot. More research and testing for Space & Thyme....

Have a great Saturday!

yeah Fishy, you should pick on someone your own size.......I know you win.

HI Marty! yeah, I should be set. Looneytune said he'd drive me too and from surgery, (unless they keep me). I think I can move pretty soon, just no straining. and yeah, I get the 50 lb. thing. Just don't like it.

Wishing everyone a nice Spring weekend. Lots to do while the weather is good. Went joyriding on my golfcart yesterday, stopped at cityhall to pay my water/sewer bill, bank to make deposit of monthly SSI, grocery to buy provisions, and the postoffice to pay bills (telephone, internet service). Now listening to Linda Ronstat's " Duets ". Playing on the interwebs.

Eight tomato plants are in their pots. The old dog is on his chain outside and the puppy is bouncing around flipping a bone into the air. Darlene's son Justin changed the starter on her pickup and drove it out of my driveway, finally. I built a frame to hold the AC in the living room window. The jungle in my backyard needs cutting, but not today. Icecream for lunch. Life is marvelous. Happy. :D

OK, how about an official greeting this time.

Hey all... not been on this here eplaya thingy for quite some time. Hope things are going well for everyone. Busy as ever with work and in touch with quite a few of you on that faceplant thing. Life has been good of late. Joined a gym again and hoping to actually be able to pedal more than a half mile on playa this year, unless it's nothing but 6" of powder everywhere. Destiny Lounge Lite will be back and hopefully placed again somewhere around C or D and 3:30. Not our full theme camp, but I do believe Rock Yer Balls will be making an encore, (and probably final) appearance, so if you happen to stumble upon us and the game is open and we aren't being total fuckwits at the time, please step up and enjoy. That's the current plan, but still a few months left for things to go awry.

You still have sarsparilly behind that bar?

Howdy, Big Blue Doggy, ygmir! BVB, hope your horse won in the Derby, if you are into that. I never had a mint julep, and well, that chance has passed.
I'll take a Root beer, cream soda back.
I still crack up when I think of ygmir's tale of asking his doctor for a "real cool scar" on his last surgery. I hope you get one you like this time, yg. It's good policy to keep your insides on the inside, so please follow directions until super human gears are available again. I think you still have working from precarious heights as an alternative to lifting.

Hay BBD! Hi Elorrum.
yeah, I'm gonna ask him for a ragged sort of scar. the doc said "we can cut right on the gall bladder scar, you'll never know........I said: lets discuss that at the pre op.......... and yeah, precarious, fire, smashing and bleeding are all still on the table, good call for the short term, though. I'm sure I'll limit my lifting stuff.

Good to see ya BBD! I'm glad to see you visiting the newer versions of the bar. A while back I went looking for an image I think you posted in the 'faces to go along with names' thread a long time ago, but I couldn't find it. I remember it because it was such an all time classic shot of you at odds with your walky talky radio.

Hey Yggy and Elorrum, great to see you too! It seemed like a good Derby race, though I'm not a big horse racing buff myself. It does have a big following and culture around here certainly. Some of the farms are beautiful, almost majestic in their settings.

Morning, YG, take it easy for the next few days before the surgery. Those things take a lot out of you so just veg out as best you can.

so strange, looking forward to the burn, not feeling much like a burner, just so dusty. most of you are so urban, feeling well, FUCK YOUR DAY.
been here, done this, just to many hours.....

Yggy, that geology trip you outlined is making me so excited!!! So you'd better have a great surgery, be quite careful, and heal up good and fast before I get there! We can geologize quite happily on little chips and pebbles; no huge chunks of granite are required. 8) 8) 8)

Yes, Yggy, be careful. Follow orders, better to heal well the first time instead of having complications. Trust me, friend.
