thanks Deb......

a good friend flies the air fire tankers here.......he was a "tomcat" pilot in the Navy.......those guys are amazing what they do with those planes, to save people and property......in that order, of course........

he's hit trees with his plane and knocked pieces off and scratched it.......now, that's close.......

those nutty fighter pilots........

gotta love 'em..........

Thank goodness there are nutty fighter pilots though. People willing to do the job. I always thought the navy ones were the nuttiest. Trying to land on a carrier in rough sea is the definition of insanity.

I once saw one of those water tanker aircraft skim over a small lake to take water on. He just barely made altitude over the trees at the other end of the lake. It was breathtaking!

Yes, another glass would be nice.

Blazing saddles is one of those movies to watch more than once for the nuances.

Nuances? What nuances? There are a lot og things one could call that movie; "subtle" is not among them.

What's in the shaker tonight?

RG:
hi, nice to meet you...........

so, you don't get the subtle messages of love and hope, and eating pork, that come from Blazing Saddles?.........

Must have missed the subtle ones. Were they hiding behind the ones which were being used to beat me about the head and shoulders?
