I'm not a coffee person, myself, but I LOVE Bailey's and cocoa. *adds both to her playa shopping list*

sure. You'll be at DMV and Wheeee!ville? You'll have a radio--you can always track down the mrFishist that way. (Not sure of his call sign this year. Don't think it will be as previous as there is no squad program this year...)

DMV will have a radio that lives in the office, and we're only supposed to use it on our channel to get the Hottie Du Jour (our OOD).

I could probably get away with three sentences, but I've spent far too much time using radios in other jobs that I'm uncomfortable just grabbing one at random without being well-schooled in procedure. (I've heard some people on-comm in BRC who just make me shudder; I don't want to be one of them.)

I work 1000-1800 Saturday, 1000-1400 Sun/Mon, and 1800-2200 Wednesday. Fall by near the end of any of those shifts and we'll go raise a little hell afterward. ;-)

(Stumbles into the bar, makeup a mess, half disheveled, glazed look in her eyes, and the dark circles??? Yiiii!!!)

Please? Please may I have a Double Makers? After all that work I'm totally completely absolutely mentally wiped out!

(Takes a deep breath, smells the smoke and playa dust...)

Ahhhh HOME!! I am SOOOO glad to be home finally! This virtual camp thing is *hard* work. See if I do *that* again!!!!

Gawd, I missed you all. Cryptofishy? Sput? PKB? Zule? BNO? Giggles?

(Tears leaking from her eyes)

It IS good to be home!

Because of this Burning Man thing I couldn't put off taking the dog kids to the vet for there check ups and shots, between this little trip and the kennel cost it's already $1,400. I took my van in for a check up too , god knows what that's going to cost, I have put off trying to figure what the gas will run for the trip. It's defiantly the time of year I lose all sympathy for the bay area kids whining about how expensive it is.

Last I looked it was DVD, and considering all of his socks I'm guessing he's really the most frequent poster and he hasn't been around for awhile.

DVD's really not a real person, he's an elaborate computer generated program that is designed to push certain people's buttons......but I do miss the dancing avatar!

Hey Zule! (HUGS!~!!) Actually, rather well now that that virtual virtuality is virtually... virtual! (Must be that Makers!!)

My ex and I had a vacation to Hawaii planned quite a few years ago. About 2 weeks before our cat (Mr Lucky) got out, got hit by a car. in the head. And lived. Some samaritan took him to the local emergency kitty doctor who, by the time he was done, soaked us for our vacation fund *and* both our tax refunds. Cat ended up blind, went schitzo after about a year. Finally had to have him put down. Sometimes luck isn't all that, I found out the hard way. So I way sympathize.

Had to do a lot of different camp stuff this year (including a new shade platform) and have been building costumes. And learning ESD stuff. And fighting stuff for work. Not to mention this other little project I got talked into - it was fun, tho!! Didn't get the cookbook done, tho, and that hurts!

Thing is, if you have your basic camping gear it's not too espensive to do BRC. Shade and water and food. Pah. Kids don't realize that.

Mmmm... that was good! May I have another?

yeah plastic is my friend,... until it comes to paying it off.

So did you do anything fun while you were in the cities?

* runs some fluid into a glass from a taper on the bar*

this stuff looks and smells like beer, what one I'm going to try it.

Hi guys. I'm drinking Margaritas again tonight.

Just finished putting in a new entrance door on my house. Well, not 100% done, but it's in and it locks. I've some dressing out to do to it tomorrow and then put the screen on, and then I'm done (with the door).

BBS, that was my big problem for going this year. Getting the stuff I think is necessary to go...like, a dome, cook stove and pans, shower stuff, various little gadgets, fans, lights, bike........oh and I'm sure I'm probably over buying and won't end up using some of it and be smacking myself about that! I haven't even bought any alcohol, food and water yet, let alone all the batteries I'm gonna need to keep stuff running!

AAIIEE!! Let's both have another drink!!

Geez the board is slow tonight. You can tell it's close to the burn. Lots of people ruining out good time. :-)

More margarita!
