....(poking head in the door, sliding a half gallon of Limon-Rum and a big can of pineapple juice to the bar)...
...Oh my god.
I`m on a posting binge.
I`m wanting to communicate again.
The post-burn funk must be "burning" off.
I still seem to have a few nagging worries....But...
....It`s the Weekend. And I`m really looking forward to it.
I must be back.
It`s not that bad if you have a burner or 2 to talk to.
Tonight , some stars, a little fire, Tandoor Chicken on the cooker, a lot of Rum and Pineapple juice
and the exquisite company of miss Montana sounds mighty good.
Sigh....it really was a fine time....
Rum and Pineapple on me!
....have a great weekend.

And Tish I'm very disappointed in you. The Dark Crystal is one of the Henson fantasy classics.

Though I suppose RG, we grew up with it. I know the eighties was saturated with good fantasy and sci fi flicks.
teehee! people always think i'm younger than i really am...!

i'd bet a dollar that i'm older than you, Blue!

i just missed it cuz i was in serious denial of my geek-ness at the time...avoided all things Sci-Fi in pursuit of "cool" (ala big hair, cigarettes, etc.). Even tho I could recite entire episodes of Star Trek (the OG) from memory...

No betting there, I know you are older than me. No offense, but I was guessing you were born at some point in the early seventies. Unlike young RG and I who were both born sometime in the eighties.

And that's just the thing, you were too cool in '82 when the movie was released. I was just born, but managed to catch the movie when it ran on tv.

damn you and your central time zone....i have to wait an hour and 15 minutes....

sorry to skip out, y'all...had some meetings to attend to.

think i'll sit here and e-sip an amber ale while reality-me keeps pounding on this keyboard.

Yeah, Blue, early seventies, and too cool for Dark Crystal when there were tight satin pants and sequined jackets to be worn!!

at home... drinking rolling rock... mentally drained from responding to every conceivable shortsighted non-planned decision my boss can imagine... not to mention second-guessing decision and actions already underway.

fuck, thank goodness for beer.

hahahaha, I'm so old I can remember when the Simpsons debuted. Which was after I'd already been reading Groenig for years. Tremble before my decrepitude!

Oh give me a break, you're only a year or two older than we are. And I personally hope that I come off as being slightly more intellegent than the average twenty-three year old.

Why in the world would you feel advanced?

Blue, how are you?
I would love a bloody mary if you have any left over.
