I plan on staying pickled because I enjoy it, the in-laws are in different states.

Nope, unless that reason is simply "I want a beer" or even simpler "I want to drink"

TPBM doesn't have to work all 5 days this week.

Went on a walk. Discovered that seeing mushrooms could counter-act and nullify seeing a cat. Saw mushrooms, no cat. I don't think the effect carries over. Dog barks few and far between. Sundays...

TPBM missed this thread, but didn't want to post so close to his last post...

Its been a while since I've posted on this thread. I guess I like lurking more. But I'm always happy to hear about Fishy's life.

TPBM sneaks a peak at celebrity mags on occasion, just for the cheap thrill of it.

Oh dear god, no. Well in the supermarket line. To sort of check the Zeitgeist. I didn't know who the Kardashians were until people started being outraged about the divorce.

TPBM has never heard a theramin.

I think that importing "The Teddy Bears' Picnic" auf Deutsch, to my ipod shows great optimism.

The person below me thinks that logical leap is erroneous.

Steiff was big in Teddy bears. I never got why the teddy bear picnic song was a warning to stay out of the woods today... and also, why did the dodger's use it as their theme music on their radio broadcasts?

tpbm doesn't have any problem getting up and getting to work on time.

Oh good, the reprogramming is successful.
TPBM is confused that German teddy bears have a different picnic songs than american teddy bears. Aren't teddy bears above petty nationalism?

Yep- but that was only because one of the dates didn't get to the party until well after midnight so no midnight kiss (he got one later)

Well I have a didgeridoo but I can't get the hang of the circular breathing so I just sound like a lame elephant farting. So I'm not sure about that satanic mix...

TPBM just wants to crawl back into bed right now.

A little. Although, nothing's more satanic than farting elephants.

TPBM has a recording from Communist China with Mexican revolutionary songs that s/he plans to blast on the playa this year.

I do! I plan to remotely pilot a UAV from Michigan that will that will circle the playa at low altitude playing the soothing sounds of Chairman Mao and the Yellowjackets

TPBM will also not be on the playa this year and won't have to listen to said soothing sounds

Oh I'll be on the playa this year. And I'll be looking for your remote controlled UAV sending us those joyful tunes of the Baja Marimba Band!

Well yes, I am surprised. Rarely rarely do you have nothing.

TPBM (unlike me) gets to spend more than 15 minutes a day online (until I get all this crap around here caught up anyway)
