Fuck, fuck, fuck. I wrote a great response to your post and now it's gone. Here's my advice to the universe.
You sound prepared and ready to be a participant instead of a tourist. Good on ya. As far as handing out *what they were handing out*, Do you have a food permit? Honestly, I wouldn't eat one for fear of, well, a wealth of things. AND...bringing your own *questionably legal substance* to share is a great concept. Don't get busted on the way in or while you're there. Minimum $500 fine. (I'm guessing by other people's past experiences.) Too large of an amount could land you in jail. Don't let your bikes obscure your rear license plate. Wear a seatbelt all the way to camp. Go 5 MPH or less and don't drink out of a can once you leave the pavement. Check that all of your lights work. In other words...don't give the LOEs a reason to pull you over with sniffy dogs.

For the burnerpreneur whingers, the poster in question has actually jumped through all the hoops for outside services and getting a BLM SRP (no easy task). Unlike the big companies who ply their trade with big fleets, they're a small independent operator that fits within the guidelines of for Burnerpreneurs. The thread is locked because that whole board is locked up in the month of August (we don't even accept new submissions - that post only got posted after the first because it took a little while to verify all the paperwork).
