Yow . . . too early for roller coasters. Need a smoother start. I'll have one of your espressos, Mozy B, please. Ahhhh. Thanks. Back to work, or something like it.

Shuffles in, pours a tall brandy, Ahhhh. Slices limes and lemons, refills the olive & cherry bowls, peanuts & pretzels on the bar . . . Takes his brandy by the fire and wonders who else will come in this cold, rainy night (at least on my side of the bar).

Just got back from the Doctor (his name was Stephen Hawkins - No joke - I thought they said "Hawkings" and I fell out of my chair!) who gave me a tentative clean bill of health - Acid Reflux (I thought only Yuppies got that... Oh shit... does that mean... NO WAY...), not something more nasty centered in that area (that runs in the family, and is prevalent amongh smokers)...

Only downside - no more smoking. Shit. Won't miss the cigs, but the Cuban cigars? THAT makes me sad. Oh well...

Round of PBR for the house, on me. And open some peaches, will ya? >>grins<<

Breathing MUCH easier, (and this is 24 hours in about 15 minutes)...

[Rouses self from slumber] Beleeeneeee! Sweet, Mozy B. You're welcome, Sput. Nice to meet you B B Sue. Long time since I've been on your bridge - used to visit Oakland often when my wife's best friend lived there. Glad to hear you had good news from the MD. Take care!

Hey, bartender, I'll have that margarita. I talked some friends into going with me to the Masquerade Bar in Reno on the 3rd. Guess they're having an After Burn party. My hubby likes to gamble and I like to party! I'll let you know how it goes.
