Hey Sputnik, we need to get together on the playa again sometime. We first met out at your pixel project in 2005. My (ex)husband thought I was nuts bringing that wooden sign! Time has given us the truth about him.
Deb, yes that would be good. Seems so unlikely that I'll make it next year, but that is what I said last year at this time. Worst case I should take a trip to see you now that I can travel to Canadia again.

PM, 2006 was megapixels (first and only year for that). 2005 we did the Quixotic Windmill project.
It's going to be alright.

Flicks are great. Workshops too.

You might be right about it being 2006, I can't seem to remember exactly. Nonetheless that's when I met Sputnik.

Oh yeah, I loved the Quixotic Windmills. That was my first art review for the Black Rock Beacon. But I think I interviewed someone named Eric (?) for that project.

Yeah, you're welcome to Canada anytime, Sputnik. Wait til I get back there though. I'll be home this weekend for Canadian Thanksgiving. Yay for long weekends.

Yeah, Eric was one of the main faces of the project. I'll give you a hollar when I'm thinking about heading up your way.
It's going to be alright.

No, gyre, I don't think Sputnik was ever banned, it's just that Homeland Security now requires Americans to either have a passport or an enhanced drivers license in order to return to the US after a visit to Canada. Sputnik just got his enhanced drivers license so he can visit Canada and the American border guards will allow him to return home.

As of June 1, 2009, American citizens were required to have this additional ID. A majority of Canadians carry passports but it seems that for a majority of Americans this is unusual.

Nope, never banned. I just would have had a bit of a rough time getting home. Hey! Time for a drink!

They asked me a couple of extra questions at the Secretary of State office to prove I was who I claimed to be and checked against my birth certificate. The license itself has some extra 'security' features on it and extra fancy barcodes on the back. Oh...and it has one of those protector sleeves to keep the mag strip from wearing off.
It's going to be alright.

Another screwdriver is totally needed. Thanks.

Next year, it's less than a year away! OMG, it seems so far, but before we know it tickets will go on sale, then there will be the wait for airline tickets to go on sale...it's practically here already!

And it was nice meeting you, though I suspect that by next year it'll be tough to pick you out of a lineup. I've finally gotten Risky down, but only because she's got her face in her icon. I am notoriously bad with putting names to faces.
It's going to be alright.

ahhh yes...fall is here...the days of sleeping past 430am...long gone...

I still dont know why I wake up so damn early in the fall?

I need to clean up the dump piles in the workshop so when I do wake up...perhaps pump out some more fun stuff for costumage.

I finally got my Halloween inspiration...It took me going over to Oneeyeddicks to check out his SKULL COLLECTION....
collection...hmm...poor choice of words...Skull museum!

So were gonna do a Bone Yard this year here at Lemmongrad.
Normally we would go do the Nv day parade, but this year...Abraham Lincoln?

Just doesn't give me that Oh Yay.Im so excited ...feeling.

ok Im up first so that means I make coffee....

MyLarry will drag out the Halloween box soon. The Buckys may come upstairs, although Mr. Bucky needs hip replacement surgery. I'm not feeling it yet either. And since I've been off the Tamoxifen, my sleep patterns are completely whacked. I was up until two in the morning, playing spider solitaire and listening to music. I never do that!

My entertainment center is covered with an assortment of decorative skulls, and I have some small nicely carved stone ones. Skulls are cool, neh?
