Nice Z. Traditionally, I'm a mixed-media and assemblage artist. The last couple years I've transitioned into illustration and 2-D work more. But I think I'll add that on my learning list. I'd like to get back more into 3-D work.

Nice to hear, LCN. Also good for a nip when it's cold outside. It was bone shattering cold last night here (8 degrees) and I walked home from the tavern, but wasn't to bad from all the hops in my belly. I don't drink very often (1-2) a month, but I do it hard. Maybe not the best thing, but hey!

I just can't get enough bandwidth for streaming. I'm happy if I get 28k on this dial-up.I can’t do sound at home
You know, that's a good idea actually. I tell everybody that I've got enough stuff and don't need gifts for birthdays, etc. But if they insist, then I tell them it must fit within the following criteria:CLARKcon wrote:(I got a grip of those in 04' and used em' as gifts for riding the artcar circuit).
Eat it
Drink it
Read it
Listen to it
Can't go wrong with those guidelines.

Yeah Zule, listened to it a few days ago. It's about an hour and 4 minutes, and is a good discussion about some of the questions people ask, as well as a lot of questions asked here on eplaya. You'd only be able to listen to half of it on your lunch break, but half is better than none!

Yeah, as far as gifts go in town, I always get art supplies. I burn through alot of notebooks, pens, and materials. It's great, like coals to the fire.
I have a theoretical question: How hard do you think it would be to get a JoTS blue booth at your campsite? Not saying I'd want one, but I wonder...do you think people would be jealous if you had your own porto?

Yeah LCN. I have a few keyboards. I'm not traditionally inclined, but have learned some chords. Mainly, I love making beats/rythems. The project I'm working on right now is called "Crush". I'm doing the drumtracking/narration and a gentlemen named Chris Haines is doing accompaniment on it. He's in a band called the vulcan freedom fighters, and he's sending the riffs via MP3 from Barcelona to add into the mix. Way cool, soundscore.

I’m getting sleepy , sleepy my eyes lids are getting heavy , I’m so tired there is nothing I’d rather do than let my eyes close and feel the warm sweet feeling of sleep wash over me, on the count of three I will be asleep .,,,, Good night all,,,,,

Night blue! (gives her a super-duty industrial electric blanket)
LeChat, sounds interesting. Yeah, I like really cerebral, yet somehow coherent tunes. The stuff I make if had to classify it would be electronic alternative, but it's definitily not techno, as not a whole lot of the instruments loop.

Nite Blue and Z... sleep well.
I've got Acid Music 5.0 and play around with that some, but use it to record stuff more than compose.
I enjoy percussion, both hand and otherwise. Mess around with a couple of homemade didges. Used to play bass guitar, but haven’t in a long while. Got a nice fiddle waiting to teach me a thing or two also, but I’ve yet to give it the chance.CLARKcon wrote:LeChat, do you play at all? Guitar, etc?

That's sweetness. I read Electronic Musician everyonce in a while, but haven't even started into the software format -too intimadating. Yeah hand drumming's a blast. I was an open-mic director for two years at a musuem of art. The first hour was readings, skits, etc. The second hour was drumming/bellydancing. It was a long narrow room, and with 9 drummers and about 6 dancers, it was like an audio hurricane. The reverb was like a fever pitch. Yeah, define "intense"...
