What the hell is everyone talking about the Badg getting the boot? WTF, what the hell did he do? He and I are civil to one another, but with no love lost over the book cover incedent thingy a couple a years ago, and I thought he was just an ass, and he probably thought the same of me, but oh well that's life. There are a few eplayans I can live happily without... even one of those "precious" Seattle eplaya women, a ranger or two, etc.
Always liked Sensei, DVD, Technopatra, Rian, Sparkletarte, Simply Joel, unjonharley, a few others...
But I'm RARELY here anymore either.
Who cares about a week hiatus? I (of all people) can't speak for Badger, but I doubt he's crying about it. I think EVERYONE needs at least a week out of here now and then. Not as a punishment, just a vacation.

Fuck, my poor honey had some x-rays at chiro and found out two of his lower vertebrae have been seriously degenerating. He's had a pinched nerve for a while and thought it was sciatica but now has found out his back is in serious trouble. This will be hard for him- he's very sporty and used to be a pro mountain biker so it's really quite the blow. Everything he does is really active and high impact. The chiro said he has to go on a two year plan to get his back back in action. Big reality check for the 40 year old who thinks of himself as 20.

Most chiropractors have fewer than two years of undergraduate schooling, at unaccredited schools. I wouldn't really trust my health to one of them. They only get to call themselves "Doctor" because there's no way to stop them.

Fuck,sparkletarte, tell your boy to be careful, the ex had to have a fusion and it was/is not a good time. I have been lucky with no back problems but I have 30 something friends (bike types) that are going through hell.
I stopped doing the MB bit when the kid lost interest (way too slow for mw) but still have a nice free-ride in the garage. I am a roadie at heart. I ride a crit level bike when I have a chance. Spring is coming!

I hate to say it but I'm really starting to get sick of your constant judgements about how people live their lives. You are intitled to your opinion, but you seem to keep making broad statements about things that I think you really don't know a whole lot about.

Why is it so hard for you to let people have their own opinions if they are not in line with your opinion. If sparkletartes SO believes that a chiropractor will help him, why should YOU care? He's an adult and can make his own decisions. It seems to me that you are tying to force your opinions on others because you believe they are right. And frankly I don't like being preached at.
